On the road to Nathan Rand.

Please join me as we talk with Nathan Rand in Marshalltown, Iowa. He is a farmer but more importantly, a large animal veterinarian.  Nathan honors not only God’s creation with his care and love for them, but also becomes a lifelong friend to the farm families he interacts with. Being a devout follower of Christ, his story is a testament in trusting the Lord when nothing makes sense and life is taking a path that is filled with sorrow and confusion.

    1. Nathan helping to feed a young calf at home. The calf had difficulty suckling, so Nathan is administering colostrum via tube.
    2.  A cute calf out of the cow named “Friend.”  Getting a scratch!
    3. Nathan placing a castrating band on a bull calf at home while brother keeps him safe from kicks!

From left to right: Nathan’s Mom, Dad, Nathan, Ashley, sister-in-law Amber, and brother Joel.
