While debt is often (justifiably) framed in a negative light there are ways to utilize and structure it for your benefit. Today Adam and Ari dive into differentiating good debt and bad debt, and how the binary view some personalities have with debt has a beneficial message for a wide audience, but can be edited when speaking to individuals with different goals.
Survival has always been the top priority but the goals don't stop there. Parenting through COVID has raised questions we never imagined and forced a kind of trial and error we've never experienced before. From home schooling, to daycare, to having a 2 year old co-worker sitting in on Zoom meetings-- flexibility has been key to navigating life this past year.
Let's look ahead to 2021 at some of the challenges we will continue to face.
Hello listeners we are back and better than ever now with two cohosts in Adam and Ari Goldfarb. This new format will allow us to upload podcasts more regularly in between interviews we hope you enjoy the show as we dive into a combination of business advice and nerd culture along with everything in between. You'll be surprised at how well they overlap.

I am excited to introduce Alexander Bigbie, a New Orleans transplant with a unique financial background. Once an investment banker, he fell in love with the city of New Orleans and uses his wealth of knowledge to aid the youth in our higher education system so they can properly navigate traditional financial difficulties young adults face.
More on Flyte: Flyte is a nonprofit that aims to improve the overall levels of financial literacy among young adults from low and middle income backgrounds in New Orleans.
70% of Americans are financially illiterate and have little to no access to education that can help them better understand how to budget, build credit and avoid toxic debt. Most of the mistakes that people make are in young adulthood and can be easily prevented with a small amount of education.
We partner up and coordinate with retail banks in the city in order to properly deploy all of their resources across schools in the city.
Flyte also offers coaching sessions to employees in the private sector as part of its broader mission to improve the city's overall financial literacy
Nicole Allen is the Director of Open Education for SPARC. In this role she leads SPARC’s work to advance openness in education, which includes a robust state and federal policy program, a broad librarian community of practice, and a leadership program for OER librarians.
SPARC is a global coalition committed to making Open the default for research and education. SPARC empowers people to solve big problems and make new discoveries through the adoption of policies and practices that advance Open Access, Open Data, and Open Education.
