WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER EPISODE OF MAN VS MARRIAGE!
Where do you start when change feels overwhelming?
In this episode of the Where Do I Start series, Quincy Moran focuses on Personal Responsibility and introduces the 5R Principle — the framework he used to challenge himself, grow, and take ownership of his attitude, actions, and responses.
This episode is not about blame.
It’s about responsibility.
Personal responsibility begins when you decide your circumstances will not dictate your attitude, and when you stop allowing others to have emotional control over you.
Personal responsibility starts here.
Not with others — with me.
Reliable
Being dependable, consistent, and trustworthy in word and action — especially when it’s inconvenient.
Resourceful
Finding solutions instead of excuses. Using what you have, where you are.
Resilient
Enduring difficulty, recovering from setbacks, and continuing forward without quitting.
Relentless
Committing to the work repeatedly, even when progress feels slow or unseen.
Remarkable
Living with character, discipline, and ownership — consistency that leaves an impact.
WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER EPISODE OF MAN VS MARRAIGE
This week we continue with our Man vs Marriage — “Where Do I Start?” Series
Anything meaningful takes time — and that’s a good thing.
If it came quickly, it would never have the power to transform you.
You’ve heard me say it before:
When you don’t know what to do, do what you know — and what you know are the tools we provide you every single week.
Those tools are intentionally and practically illustrated throughout this entire “Where Do I Start” series.
This journey isn’t a sprint.
It’s not a $19.99, 30-day, money-back-guarantee sham job.
This is a purpose-driven, transformational journey where you design and build the life and marriage you truly want.
In this episode, we tackle the big question:
“How long will this take?”
We break down how timelines actually work, why consistency matters more than motivation, and how intentionality drives lasting results.
Imagine your life as a movie or a book.
Step outside yourself and watch the main character — YOU — move through the story.
This tool reveals your next steps with clarity and honesty.
Why do we care so much — even without knowing you personally?
Because we used to be you.
That uniquely qualifies us to share our journey, offer the tools that changed our lives, and show you what is possible.

### 🎧 BONUS EPISODE — *Marriage: Where Do I Start?*
Homework Follow-Up
This bonus episode is a direct follow-up to our November 3rd release, *“Marriage — Where Do I Start?”* If you listened to that episode, you know we didn’t just talk about change — we challenged you to *take action.*
Today, we’re walking through your homework and showing you how to put it into practice so you can build real connection and momentum in your marriage.
💪 **Your Homework This Week:**
1. **Focus on what you can affect** — your **attitude**, **effort**, and **actions**. These are the daily keys that shape your marriage.
2. **Observe your inner dialogue.** What do you say to yourself when challenges arise or when you and your spouse have hard conversations? Ask yourself honestly:
* Am I punishing my spouse on purpose?
* Am I hurting them emotionally on purpose?
3. **The Gratitude Exercise:** For **7 days**, speak out loud **one thing you’re grateful for** each day. Words have power — use them to build connection.
4. **Reality Check Exercise:** Finish this sentence: *“At this point in my life, I am here... vs. I thought I would be here...”* Reflect on what that means and what you can do next.
These small, intentional steps will create real movement — not just in your relationship, but in *you.*
🎙️ **Listen. Reflect. Apply.**

Welcome back to another episode of Man vs Marriage!
One of our most downloaded series ever is “Where Do I Start?” — and there’s a reason it hits home for so many. Jeanne and I know that question all too well.
At about 10 years into our marriage — with 8 kids running around — we hit a breaking point. We were tired, disconnected, and just surviving. We weren’t communicating, we felt alone, misunderstood, and disappointed in what our marriage had become.
Maybe that sounds familiar to where you are today.
You might be thinking, “Of course I want to fix my marriage — that’s obvious. But honestly… I just don’t know where to start.”
We get it. We’ve been there.
In this episode, Jeanne and I are giving you simple direction and a few practical tools to help you take that first real step toward healing and reconnection — even if you’ve tried before and it didn’t seem to work.
There is hope for your marriage. Let’s find it together.

Welcome back to another episode of Man vs Marriage!
Let’s get real — this one hits home for a lot of marriages. Ever find yourself wondering, “Why does my wife seem to control every part of our sex life?”
This dynamic can be deeply frustrating and cause real division between you and your spouse. When one partner holds the power over intimacy, it can create a cycle of resentment, distance, and disconnection.
Before long, sex becomes routine — a physical act with little emotional connection. That’s not what marriage was designed to be.
In this episode, we unpack why this control dynamic shows up, what’s really going on beneath the surface, and how you can move from frustration to freedom, understanding, and intimacy.
This conversation isn’t about blame. It’s about growth, communication, and intentional love. Because when you live, love, and communicate with purpose — everything changes.
This show isn’t just about surviving marriage — it’s about thriving. We’re digging deep into what makes relationships strong, honest, and lasting.
Because who you are isn’t who you have to be, and your marriage deserves more than maintenance.
WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER EPISODE OF MAN VS MARRIAGE!
In this episode of Man vs Marriage, we dig into the value of learning through experience. This isn’t theory — this is real life. The connection we’ve built with you, our listener, has been forged in the flames of life and adversity. Over the last 26 years, our journey has been one of trial, triumph, heartbreak, and healing. Together, we’ve been molded by the fire — not destroyed by it.
👉 Today, we’re tackling three not-so-obvious hurdles that are holding you, your life, and your relationship back:
Let’s take these steps together.
How do you move forward when life doesn’t go the way you expected?
How do you handle the gap between where you thought you’d be and where you actually are?
We’ll unpack how these hidden hurdles can quietly anchor you to old pain — and how recognizing them is the first step toward freedom. You can’t build your today or your future if your heart and mind are still trapped in what was.
The truth is:
🧠 Growth doesn’t happen in comfort.
💪 Strength is forged when we face our challenges, not when we run from them.
🔥 The value in our adversity is revealed as we walk through it — step by step, fight by fight, choosing to keep going when giving up would be easier.
This is your moment to take action — because you didn’t find this show by mistake. There’s a reason you’re here, right now, reading these words and listening to this message.
It’s time to rise up and take ownership of your journey — as a man, as a husband, and as a leader in your home.
