    All Things Six Strings is excited to announce the release of Michael Partington's 11th CD featuring music written over the last ten years by Bryan Johanson, and almost all premiere recordings. Released by Canadian publishers Les Productions d'Oz, it'll be available through Michael's website (www.michaelpartington.com) and locally at the Rosewood Guitar (www.rosewoodguitar.com. Eventually, you'll be able to find it on Spotify, iTunes and elsewhere... Scores for the pieces are available at Productions d'Oz.

    Clocking in at just over 73 minutes, it includes selections from 'The Illustrated Guitar' (2023), 'Oranges' (2022), 'Sonatine-Cahier' (2017) in its entirety, the monumental 'Hearing the Things Itself' (2021), and the delightful 'Magic Serenade' (2013).

    Alan Mearns - Oracion
    Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Alan Mearns began his musical studies with the classical violin at age five, switching to the guitar at age ten. Moving to the United States in his late teens, he studied classical guitar performance with Douglas James at Appalachian State University (where he held the prestigious Fletcher Scholarship) and with Stanley Yates at Austin Peay State University.
