What would be considered alternative or holistic therapies such as grounding, sound therapy, ketogenic diet and exercise have all been proven to help support the full field in finding homeostasis even with a condition such as TSC and can improve overall health and quality of life as a support beyond meds and other more drastic regimens. I also talk about the similarities between CPTSD and TAND (TSC Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorder) and the importance of understanding the "energetics" of a rare disease when advocating for one's self and/or loved ones. The system will add additional labels and complicate understanding. I hope to explore further the CPTSD connection as I feel it as AS relevant as the limited focus of TAND.

I also go over some of the "no touch" technologies being rolled out and tested on those with diseases such as TSC where the nature of the genetics, a "monogenic" disorder, makes it a more suitable population to experiment on to gain information than other more common disorders, such as Alzheimer's, which involve 100s of genetic factors. TSC population is kept in that "test bunny" role without ever addressing the external factors that make the disease more difficult to manage in the first place.
