    "You Could Never"-Spoken Word

A spoken word addressed to Ego.

The part of myself that has been both created and inherited through circumstance and confusion.

My writing passion began with poetry, so it felt...poetic, to shed light on the hindrances of ego in a storied poem format.

This is a piece that'll be in my future poetry book, the title of which will be revealed once it's in the process of publication.

Thank you for taking the time to listen.

    "Fire : Smoke"-Spoken Word

I wrote this piece a few days ago and shared it elsewhere.

I've gotten positive feedback about it so I thought it would be a good piece to share on the podcast as well.

Let me know what you think, if you'd like, please.

    What if... God...

The most difficult thing we can do in terms of cultivating a deeper threshold of our curiosity is ask questions we might never know the answers to.

We may get close to understanding as deeply as possible, at least one can hope to, but "knowing" isn't something one person will ever obtain on their own.

    That's the beauty of it.

This episode is a small attempt to dive deeper into curiosity's abundance.

    2024 U.S. Election Reflection

At the very least, this episode can help garner some form of clarity and understanding.

The bigger hope would be for those who listen to find a sense of peace in the midst of what happened this election.

    The Deep End
This episode is based on fear. The fear of water and where it might stem from. As well as possible nuances to what that fear could mean, and how we might be able to overcome it.

    Freedom of Expression

All I do is find sounds I like or that stand out on Garageband.

None of what you hear in my "music compositions" is of my creation.

Been playing with this program since '06 B.C. (Before Covid). It's just fun to try and tell a story using only music.

I hope you enjoy the journey.

    "A True Story" (Spoken Word)

Trigger warning: the first section of this piece hints at ideas and scenes of self harm and suicide.

I've always wanted to have a piece be an authentic true story. Although many of my poems and episodes are based on truths, nothing has been a completely true story until now.

    "Stuck Point." (Spoken Word)

Sometimes, no matter how hard we've worked or how much we plan we just get stuck in life.

This piece is my reflection of a recent point like that.

But no matter how stuck we may feel, no point in life is permanent. That's one of the frustrating beauties of life.

Or, that's one of the beautiful frustrations of life. However you choose to see it.

    Compassion not Control

As we seek to gain more control over the outside world, we succeed only in losing more control of our self.

Often times when we think we need control, what we need to give most, especially to ourselves, is compassion.
