SDS Special Report Oct 29-LAPD:A female officer’s story of domestic violence
As National Domestic Violence Awareness Month comes to an end, I find it ironic that just a few days ago LAPD decided to go public with a domestic violence personnel complaint against me; the victim.

A few years after allegations of domestic violence by OJ Simpson and his murder trial and the murder-suicide of a LAPD Ofcr Victor Ramos (my ex husband’s partner) who killed his estranged wife , LAPD sic’d 2 sgts Ernie Eskridge (now Cmdr) & Horace Frank (now Dep Chief) on me after learning of my victimization at the hands of one of their own; my ex.

BOR chairman (now Ret.) Dep Chief Martin Pomeroy opined, “not a mother in the cosmos would’ve stayed” just before he suspended me for 4 days without pay.

As a social justice advocate and law enforcement expert, Sgt. Dorsey spoke before the California Assembly Committee on Public Safety regarding AB392. Sgt.
