Letecia Stauch Gets a New Trial: Conviction Overturned After Massive Court Error

CRIME TALK SHOP Crime Talk Store: https://scottreisch.com/crime-talk-store

The Colorado Court of Appeals has overturned Letecia Stauch's murder conviction in the killing of 11-year-old Gannon Stauch and ordered a new trial. The ruling does not declare her innocent, but it does say the original trial was legally flawed because a juror who should have been automatically disqualified was allowed to take part in deliberations.

In this video, we break down exactly what the appeals court said, why the judge's decision became a structural error, how the prosecution responded, and what happens next if the case moves forward again. We also look at the emotional reaction from Gannon's father and why this ruling could force everyone to relive one of Colorado's most disturbing child murder cases.

Do you think the outcome of a new trial will be any different, or will the final result be the same?

Hawaii Doctor's "Self-Defense" Story... "She Started It" Let's Talk About It!

    Crime Talk Store: https://scottreisch.com/crime-talk-store

we're breaking down the explosive courtroom testimony in the attempted murder trial involving Maui anesthesiologist Gerhardt Konig.

According to testimony summarized in court, Konig says he struck his wife, Arielle Konig, with a rock in self-defense during a confrontation on March 24, 2025, on the Pali Puka Trail near Oahu's Pali Lookout. Arielle previously gave a very different account, telling jurors he attacked her and tried to kill her.

Now the jury is hearing two completely different stories: one side says this was self-defense during a chaotic struggle, while the other says it was an attempted murder on a hiking trail. The case also includes testimony about an alleged emotional affair, a missing syringe dispute, life insurance questions, and a FaceTime call with his son that Konig says saved his life after the incident.

We're unpacking what was said in court, what stands out, and why this testimony could matter.

Gerhardt Konig has pleaded not guilty, and the case remains ongoing.

Son Throws His Father Off the Cliff... In Court

Nothing says "totally innocent" like two FaceTime calls and an alleged confession… make it make sense. Prosecutors say Maui anesthesiologist Gerhardt Konig tried to kill his wife Arielle during a hike near the Nu'uanu Pali Lookout. His 20-year-old son Emile testified the defendant admitted it—and talked about jumping off a cliff to dodge police. Defense claims it was a "human reaction," not attempted murder. The jury gets to decide who's spinning. Subscribe and watch to the end—this trial is a masterclass in contradictions. #TrueCrime, #CrimeTalk, #AttemptedMurderTrial, #HawaiiCrime, #CourtroomDrama, #BreakingNews

This Was NOT on My Bingo Card: Pro Cornhole Player Accused of Murder

A 27-year-old quadruple amputee and professional cornhole player is now facing first- and second-degree murder charges after authorities say he fatally shot an acquaintance during an argument inside a Tesla SUV, then fled with the victim's body still in the vehicle.

According to investigators, Dayton James Webber allegedly shot 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells while Wells sat in the front passenger seat during a late-night drive in Maryland. Police say two other passengers were also inside the SUV when the argument happened. Authorities allege Webber later stopped the vehicle, asked the backseat passengers to help remove the body, and when they refused, he drove off alone.

Hours later, Wells' body was reportedly found in a yard, and investigators tracked Webber's Tesla more than 100 miles away to Virginia, where he was eventually arrested.

What makes this case even more shocking is that Webber had previously gained attention for overcoming enormous physical challenges, competing in wrestling and later in the American Cornhole League.

This video breaks down the allegations, the timeline, and why this case has so many people saying the exact same thing: this was absolutely not on anyone's bingo card.

Important: These are allegations based on law enforcement reports and charging documents. Webber has not been convicted and is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

    Crime Talk Store: https://scottreisch.com/crime-talk-store

A juror from the Kouri Richins trial is speaking out after the Utah mother was found guilty in the 2022 death of her husband, Eric Richins.

In this video, we break down what the juror said about the deliberations, why sympathy faded as the evidence came in, and how cell phone data, financial records, and witness testimony shaped the final verdict. The jury convicted Kouri Richins on all five counts, including aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, insurance fraud, and forgery.

The juror described the decision as heartbreaking, but said the panel focused on facts over emotion. She also shared observations about Richins' courtroom demeanor and the moment the guilty verdict was read.

With sentencing scheduled for May 13, 2026, this case continues to draw national attention, especially after Richins' children's grief book and the additional pending charges still ahead.
