HOUSEKEEPING UP TOP! Occasionaly Brett and Camille refer to each other as 'Connie'. Brett might use 'Ucan' and 'Udon' interchangably. 'Sketco' is sketch comedy. 'Sketco' is also the pseudonym of the child of Camille and husband James McNicholas (aka 'The Beast'). Should the writeup end there? I mean it sets a tone doesn't it... Well if further selling of this classic and hilarious episode is needed, just know that Camille is wonderful as always, and we also hear about all sorts including the post-childbirth world and the many trials and tribulations but also wonder therein, "the crawl", writing a brand new play, George Miller, and some choice encouragement from Brett for Camille to make Mumreels. A really lovely episode where we find Julia on top form, with a perfect balance of funny and emotional (with a beautiful reaction to being informed of her demise, as show tradition dictates). Julia's been putting in serious work through the years, not least with 'Wish You Were Here', which she directed and goes into detail on. Of course she and Brett go into all sorts of terrain, including said film direction and being a driver as opposed to passenger, behind the scenes process, not being all the way out in the open, line readings ("Just do it happier!"), doing your own stunts at a younger age, growing up in New York, and good old fashioned fronting. Wonderful. ENJOY! Oh - stick around for added voicenotes at the end...

Zach is known for really fun character work and is embarking on the stage at this moment so if you're in those areas, do check the show. Urzila, more accurately though, is a comic and actor who is most definitely funny in the bones. Even the most casual and cursory glance over her credits will warm your day nicely, and this episode is one of those proper loose and knockabout classics that has so much to enjoy and chuckle through. Once you've appropriately gauged the rhythm, you'll be locked in for sure. Expect to hear about all sorts including - but not limited to - acting and having permission to be funny on set, organizing tours and those logistics, the wide spectrum of the sense of smell, talcum powder phases, school video rentals and birds knocking at the door. Call it a curveball but you have our word, this episode (Epps-isode) is a wonderful one, and a totally perfect temporary departure from your regularly scheduled guest list! Jeanette is a delightful presence and utterly essential listening for anyone who is in the least bit interested in space and astronaut life. You'll hear how the whole thing came together but take comfort in knowing that all pertinent questions get answered (not just the film ones - like actual space logistics and how it all works up there), and by the end you'll be a definite pal of Jeanette's and hopefully follow her adventures from here on. Really lovely stuff from someone who's been putting in work and time into all sorts of space research, as well as literally doing a couple of stints living underwater and in a cave. But that's for you to hear more about. ENJOY!
