This episode we're sweating through a London heatwave while wrestling with one of the biggest questions in the climate conversation: that the climate crisis is a problem of individual consumer choice. We explore why the burden of carbon responsibility keeps falling heaviest on those with the least capacity to bear it, while the 1% continues to jet-set and launch rockets into the stratosphere. We also wade through the political chaos of a resigning Prime Minister, the apparent coronation of Reform as the "only alternative," and ask whether watching institutions fail in real time actually frees us from the guilt of our own carbon footprint.
