I enjoyed chatting with Marie Nishimwe , a Burundian feminist. We discussed on her story as a refugee who never grew up in Burundi. On this episode, we looked at different experiences from my side as a Burundian who was raised in Burundi and Mary, as a Burundian who only heard about Burundi from a refugee camp where she lived before moving to the United States.
