Einon’s Journal Summary: My colleagues and I have taken it upon ourselves to prepare future generations of Clockwinders for the challenges of the Aether Swamps. Maxine did a bit of soul searching with a veteran member of the group. I made an impromptu hunting trip within the city. Kade added some dazzling aesthetics to our means of conveyance. In addition to our research, I daresay we all gained a valuable bit of wisdom.

Einon’s Journal Summary: Laden with new intelligence, we railed back to Sun’s Edge. Kade made a generous offer to show Uisine the world outside of the swamp. Maxine reported on the egregious loss of a Clockwinder. I offered a few speculations on recruitment for the organization. Fixing the other cores remains to be our paramount task, but we’ve found ourselves side-tracked with a few essential errands.

Einon’s Journal Summary: We found it. We tracked down the wraith. I tested the limits of physical contact with a spirit. Kade made use of an aether core, to great effect. Maxine seems to be unaware of her true connection to the world’s magic. I’m not entirely sure how to broach the subject without causing discomfort. As we travel on, we’ll have to tread this subject lightly.

Einon’s Journal Entry: We immersed our attention in the pursuit of the swamp’s wraith. I discovered a more direct path to our quarry. Kade teased the impish Uisine with another challenge. Maxine was distressed about a revelation we received. The form and function of the spectre ahead alludes us, but we shall not be deterred.

Einon’s Journal Summary: It would seem that our encounter with the swamp’s core went far more swimmingly than expected. Maxine got a headstart on cataloguing this facility’s inner workings. Kade began work on an ingenious device that may assist in the core’s maintenance. I’m rather embarrassed to say that I flubbed a challenge with our puckish friend, Uisine. With renewed confidence, our merry band prepares for what lies ahead.

Einon’s Journal Summary: After our harrowing ordeal with the guardian of the swamp’s Movement Core, we had to solve the problem of how to access the core itself. Kade determined the nature of this facility’s inner workings. I took what I’d describe as a brackish swim. Maxine opened herself up to the idea of deeper discovery. The unusual nature of this core’s design might prove a clue as to the measures taken on the rest of the facilities that we plan to encounter.

Einon’s Journal Summary: On our way towards the next core, we found a decrepit Clockwinders way station in the depths of the swamp. Imagine my pride at seeing Kade leaping headlong to the aid of a friend in danger. Maxine discovered a lovely little tidbit about the dangers we might face at the swamp’s Movement Core. I was able to put our moss bear hide to use, though not in what one might consider a conventional manner. Scrapes and bruises aside, not to mention a fair amount of disquiet in regards to our foe, we settled the encounter in a most satisfying fashion.

Einon’s Journal Summary: Our conversation with the Wilders was surprising, especially in regards to an alleged wraith that hunts them. I made an offer about dealing with this threat, which I hoped will appease our new friends. Maxine expertly maneuvered the deal in a way which Selwyn, I’m sure, appreciates. Kade seemed keen on constructing a helm similar to the Wilders, which I would find rather fetching. With that done, we look ahead to what’s next.

Einon’s Journal Summary: My companions and I dredged our way back into the marsh, in an attempt to draw out The Wilders. Maxine had a wonderful idea that proved useful in swindling our quarry. Kade displayed a marvelous talent for recreating the natural din of the swamp. I assisted in setting a trap, which concluded in a most fascinating fashion. The Wilders demonstrated an astonishing response that I’m ever so intrigued to explore further…

Einon’s Journal Summary: With a bit of guidance, we made our way further into the Aether Swamps in search of our next objective. Kade’s keen eyes spotted a potential threat after we took our rest. Maxine very kindly endeared us to a small community’s elder. Against all odds, I found a familiar, friendly face within the fen. Things are looking up, though a curious problem seems to have fallen to us, The Clockwinders, to fix on behalf of our new friends.

Einon’s Journal Summary: After settling our affairs in the city, our locomotive hurried us on our way to the edges of the Aether Swamps. I admit to a fair bit of motion sickness on our journey. I think my feet prefer solid ground. Kade tinkered with an ingenious notion to make Sme’s travel more feasible through the bog. Maxine tested a theory on the reactiveness of locusts, after we spied a curious little Fey fellow frolicking in the muck. The encounter proved to be incredibly enlightening.
