Everyone needs a break--from the stress, the gloom, and the hectic pace of everyday life. Rest is meant to impact more than our minds and bodies, though. Our spirit yearns to find rest and be refreshed in God's presence, but finding and protecting this time requires discipline.

In this session, we explore the origin story of the woman, as well as the insights this accounts shares regarding the purpose of humanity and the relationship between the two sexes. We also look at the covenant of marriage, specifically in light of the human calling that runs throughout this chapter of Genesis.

Jesus didn't come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). As His followers, we're called to imitate His servant heart. Whether it's encouraging a neighbor, serving on a ministry team, or using your unique abilities to bless others, your service matters. It's healthy for the Church and vital to personal spiritual well-being.

In part 4 of our study, we analyze the Garden of Eden and the two trees in its center, looking at their importance in the greater context of the Ancient Near East, and how this information helps us understand their significance.
