A podcast about under-appreciated and overlooked things, be it movies, games, books, professions, food, modes of transport, domestic or undomesticated animals, drag queens, YouTube channels, cheeses, and anything else that we can think of.
Spooky Month is upon us. These two board games really put us in the festive mood, with angry ghosts, scared townsfolk, and a ticking clock(tower) we invite you to look at two of our favorite games: Blood on the Clocktower and Mysterium.
Blood on the Clocktower is a hidden agenda deception game inspired by classics like Werewolf but with more roles, active after death mechanics, and a felt lined book that any collector will love.
Mysterium is a cooperative Clue like murder mystery where you take the role of mediums who can see visions of the silent but very artistic ghost to find their killer.

New Zealand has a lot of dark comedy, horror movies. We discuss one that we saw at the Tribeca Film Festival "Come To Daddy" directed by Ant Timpson (Known for ABCs of Death, Turbo Kid, and Housebound).Â
We discuss what makes this movie different and if you enjoy any of the previous works you should really check this movie out and why if you are Elijah Wood you should never go visit your estranged father in the middle of nowhere.

Mike and Shane discuss two of their favorite D&D 5E books, Xanathar's Guide to Everything and Faerie Fire. Xanathar's Guide to Everything is an official 5E rulebook that adds tons of new sub-classes, more flavor for character history, magic items, and rules clarifications for anyone who wants to explore more of D&D.
Faerie Fire is "A stylish, glamorous fey bestiary and setting inspired by the 80s and 90s, for use with 5e", which to Shane and Mike means the ability to be super queer and fabulous in D&D.

In this draft episode Shane and Mike discuss some surprising statistics found from playing with DnDBeyond. Druids are the most under-created class in 5E, and we think more people should try them out, especially with the new Xanathar's Guide to Everything sub-classes.Â
We also talk about different ways to play Druid's other than high and mighty for those who wanted to try playing a Druid but didn't want to commit to Lawful Good.

Shane and Mike realize that they love Puffs so much that they stop talking about why you should go see Puffs and eventually just start quoting the show to each other. I cut out about 15 min of them just talking about Harry Potter lore to try to keep them on track!
