Lost in Transit is a weekly show about the trails and tribulations of travel hosted by Spud Groshong. Spud is a travel junkie, a photographer and a touring monitor engineer. Episodes will include interviews from a plethora of travel types ranging from backpackers, hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, walkers, luxury travelers, weekend and 2 weeks a year travelers, to so many more. The podcast will also include travel tips, tricks, hacks, advice and many stories from many of the guests as well as Spud himself. There will also be a second part to every interview which will include a rapid 10 questions not covered in the initial podcast. I hope you enjoy and get lost.
A few months ago I reached out to some travel podcast hosts to see if they might be interested in cross promoting each others podcasts. Travis was the first to reply. Travis is a dad, husband and avid traveler. In this podcast you can hear him talk about his podcast So How was the trip as well as get grilled with some classic Lost in transit questions.

This week I had no guest lined up and had no real topic I wanted to cover on my own so Just figured I would tell you, the listeners, about some of my favorite spots along the Oregon coast to adventure to for the summer. From the Peter Iredale Shipwreck to Samuel H Boardman Scenic Corridor the Oregon coast is unlike any other coast line in the world. Thank for Listening
Before I get into another episode of 10 questions I talk a little bit about some travel related things I found on the internet this week. First a google map of all the border crossings in Asia (link Below). Second an Air BNB experience called "around the world in 80 days" that, much like the Jules Verne book takes you to 6 of the 7 continents in 80 days (link below). Once the episode gets rolling I do Lost in Transit's 10 questions with Sara Melotti.

It was in late 2012 that a young budding photographer would have to come take photos of me for an AP Magazine article. Ever since we've been great friends. Currently Josiah works for Shawn Mendes but in the past has toured with many bands including Pierce The Veil and We the Kings. On this episode Josiah dive in to an unusual version of the lost in transit 10 questions format. Enjoy this episode of Lost in Transit. SHOW NOTES
Recently I had the opportunity to chat with Italian travel photographer Sara Melotti. In this episode of the lost in transit podcast we discuss the toxicity of social media, faking an old way of life for a photo op, getting stranded in Indonesia and much more.
