It is late evening on February 14, 2018 nineteen year old Nikolas Cruz has been in custody for many hours following the mass shooting of staff and students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He has been in the interrogation room for 75 minutes speaking to John Curcio, a Detective from Broward Sheriffs office

The shooting in the 1200 block had stopped. Cruz dumped his guns and had run from the building.
