After years of working with Eric Millar and his We The Hallowed Press bouts of independent publishing, I decided I would take a stab at creating custom, blank journals—largely for myself and my endless need of scribble books. I designed a blank journal with PragMagick’s Austin Osman Spare Planchette insignia, only the image on the cover, but needed to publish it to the public to get my discounted author copies, so I pummeled through the annoying minutiae of listing it for sale to a general audience. I knew how niche and specific these designs were, and had no expectation about them selling. The simple praxis of self-publishing these wholly custom journals got me itchy about all the publishing projects from the early We The Hallowed era. Hell, even Revelator Rosz, my rebirthed moniker reinvigorated by the Prospectre Ritual, is still listed as an author to the first ever We The Hallowed zine.

Dissolving the internal dissonance I’ve felt with We The Hallowed as a magickal apparatus of late, echoing its ethos of anarchic revelries of shared metaphysical creations, and finally, resounding in the thirdscene of both made new—allowed me to construct this anarchic grimoire, this workbook, this rubric for user-created ritual construction.

THE ANARCHIC SCHEMA

The Grimoire is simple. The book gives space for the aspects of a rite, it gives space for the ruminations and visitations of a rite’s attempts, space to catalogue a personal sigil alphabet, and, most importantly, it introduces the “Disolver Eco Resonar” method to assist in ritual ruination, reconstruction and rebirth of all of the above. This very chapter of the Haunt Manual was guided by this D E R method—as the Spectre of 2017 dissolves, the Aspectre of a thought lost self echoes, and the resonance of these workings haunt on through the Prospectre of self and future works…

My aims of this Grimoire are threefold: 1) To hone and construct my own ritual processes within an organized schema 2) To have this become the backbone for a resurgence in community driven magicks 3) To deconstruct & rebirth new schema for updated volumes.

My hope is that the Divergent Magick Anarchic Grimoire is not only found useful for neuro-divergent and neuro-typical minds alike, but also inspires a community of sharing these anarchic recipes for life in the form of their custom rituals. Perhaps this tome can become the tool to discover the constants, to discover the inherent. Perhaps this is vessel for the intentionally customizable scripture of this self-styled art-religon’s “Tethers?” We shall see.

Notes on terminology From Elena (SorcerersHomie):

• Praxis: Rite, ritual, practice, cycle.
• Tethers: Additional notes that don't entirely belong to the other sections of the praxis.
• Intention: Succinctly articulated objective of the praxis.
• Spectres: [Note to self] Go read Keats' entry on this as well as the following. These are external or internal contacts—deities, spirits, intelligences, saints, notions i.e., "certain musicians' pathos," etc., with whom you wish to parlay your intentions.
• Talismans: Physical objects to be utilized in the rite. These may be tools for some specific purpose or items used symbolically toward the aims of sympathetic magic.
• Invo/evocation Sequence: A distillation of the rite's sequence into nine distinct steps. For best results, they should be comprehensible to a second person.
• Sigil: A symbolized representation of the praxis (via the usual means).
• Declarations: The praxis' "prayers, chants, decrees, etc." or the song's lyrics, mission statement, etc. The text of the rite.
• Observations: "Note the conditions within and outside the self. A micro mindfulness meditation to break you away from the fervor of craft creation."
• 1 Month Later: Reflections after a month.
• Disolver: Admissions of obstacles to the rite's work that should be resolved. I think of these as "the trees," as in, "can't see the forest for the trees." Keats writes: "Dissolve them to see past [them]" in this section.
• Eco: "What do you need to keep performing? These are actions; these are movements. Roar the elements that worked to have them amplified and repeat!" Josephine [McCarthy] always reminds us patterning strengthens ritual actions. Knowing this, what actions will you repeat in future?
• Resonar: "A revelatory whim materializes. [...] What is it you hope wallows and lingers on from the praxis?" What epiphanies from the praxis process our outcome will you carry with you? What do you want to ring out in perpetuity? K also adds: "Haunt • Emanate • Unify • Resolve." Many potential meanings to Resonar.

I call this a Living Film Score because it has been a rollicking soundtrack that illuminates the Noirs (or metaphysical darkened corners) of the day, and ignites them Neon. Perhaps, you too, will allow this breathing and churning sound magick to brighten the mundane in your own film lore.

This "Living Lore Film Score" was composed of two completely improvised DIM SESSIONS (or Audiomancy Rituals) performed and recorded on 12/24 & 12/25 utilizing a new ritual setup. Why, oh, why care about such outmoded technologies?

I aim to marry true communion with the thirdmind of neither analog, either/or digital in my audiomantic works, BUT BOTH with intentional and ritualistic means-- free from digital sequencing or using samples of any kind outside my own custom ones made from my somatic creating. I'm not going full Steve Albini as I still believe in the DAW as a magickal tool, but I will be utilizing the digital audio workspace only for distribution, audio cleanup and mixing / mastering -- largely keeping its infinite ease to "create" at bey, as the easing of many of rough and tumble processes of recording and songwriting, let alone audiomancy and podcasting, have fallen victim to indistinguishable and dishonest bores of same-y-ness. Staring at a computer screen to easily non-linear edit a cut-up of stock samples or auto-generating noise all have their place within the umbrella of audiomancy, just not with me! It's easy to make something clean and standard! I believe true audiomancy lies within the somatic experience -- the abandonment of expectation, and the invocation and celebration of human error -- to conjure my personal communion with the self and the other... so... Everything is performed live (aside from my haunted 70's analog rhythm machine, Herbert, and custom programming played from a Korg Drum Machine) - each sonick #musick #soundsigil is #improvised utilizing only #glossolalia to channel "words" where there were never any! Warts and all!

Wren Collier, a storied ufology researcher, occult practitioner, and general rad-brained rambler authored the online New Aeon English Qabalah (ALW Cipher) gematria calculator, NAEQ.IO, with techgnosistitician and glitch-witch, Alynne Keith. A simple tool that calculates the numerical value of the cipher from any word or phrase prompt. It has been my most used techno-magickal tool since decoding my hauntomancy workings, such as the Prospectre Ritual, since.

It is rare that this analog/digital daemon dips into the software pool of occult tools, but this one is as simple and as extraordinarily useful without impeding many processes that are often sacrificed in technological magicks by their lonesome. It could be argued that the long process of equating the words with paper and long-maths is a deeply held praxis, and to that I agree, however, it is simply a tool for me within a barrage of majorly physical processes within my workings. I’ve done both, but love to love the simple calculator to allow for passing thoughts or walking epiphanies to be quickly computed and logged in my lexicon.

I spoke to Wren Collier about his creation of the NAEQ.IO tool, the ALW Cipher’s origins, but I believe most importantly, who or what we are channeling within these Great Works? Is it the other, ultraterrestrial or ghost, the temporally displaced self, or preternatural pareidolia...

Wren Collier is an avid scholar of the paranormal, having been obsessed from an early age with the anomalous and the occult. He is currently working on several projects, including a guide to modern necromancy, a online calculator utilizing the New Aeon English Qabalah, and an indie dungeon crawler.

He sells fine occult tools and materia at Atelier Argent and runs an occult and anomalistics focused Discord server called Lunar Cry. LIMINALROOM

Wren Collier is an occultist and Thelemite living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a frequent contributor on the "Where Did The Road Go?" podcast, as well as contributing to projects like NAEQ.IO and the Lunar Cry occult community. He also sells fine occult goods at his Etsy store, Atelier Argent, and is working on his first book, "CTHONIA", an exploration of katabasis narratives, underground kingdoms, pulp sci-fi, and the Hollow Earth. In air for some body 93 Up chuck? Safe “In the air for some body” is perhaps a question? And the answer is 93 (KEATS ROSS). “Up Chuck” (99) also correlates to DAKOTA SLIM (99) - my musical moniker for decades and a heteronym often used to commune via audiomancy. This almost reads like a confirmation of who is reaching out to them. Through these Haunt Manual workings, I often venerate MEDJED (99) the Egyptian bardo-jumper as a folkloric vessel for the workings. “Safe” (49) could signify the KEY (49) or CROWN (49) bestowed to the communion of KEATS ROSS, DAKOTA SLIM and MEDJED. At face value, the Prospectre could also be simply attesting that communion with KEATS ROSS (93) or DAKOTA SLIM (99) is a SAFE (49) venture. 4D Soul! “4D Soul” (41) could be the explanation of the Prospectre itself, for the fourth dimension is in fact TIME (93) which further illustrates a prospect of KEATS ROSS (93) I am communicating with! Or, an ultraterrestrial being that haunts the 4D planes - one that revels in trickery and mind-fuckery - either way, this is absolutely fascinating.

This is the third working (Spectre / Aspectre/ PROSPECTRE) that utilizes my audiomancy with a spirit box to commune with the "other". • Hauntomancy is my praxis that mixes audiomancy (sound or musick sorcery) and other magickal means to hauntologically e/invoke the ghosts of past-selves for varying intentions.
• These Hauntomancy workings are usually done in rituals I have termed “Dim Sessions” - a long practiced audiomancy ritual to “Dim The Tzim-Tzum” or help diminish the contraction of the preternatural that creates our perceivable reality.
• These Dim Sessions are performed with carefully chosen talismans and instrumentation called “Sceptres” specific to their invocation intention. These are my vajra, my charged instruments of application. These are performed in my musickal and magickal space called “The Dimming Room.”
• The first working, The Spectre Working, (Sine Wave Serpents) called on the self of 2017 - a magickal year of birth that fortified my many current passions using instruments (or Sceptres) from 2017 to call-forth my 2017 self.
• The Aspectre Working (Disolver Eco Resonar) is a Dim Session that charged and e/invoked an aspect of self I have long sought to get back - the aspect of a creative abandon free from judgement and expectation- a personage I haven’t felt since I was young. This e/invocation was intentionally not year-specific as with Spectre working.
• This 3rd ritual, the Prospectre Working (Sever Tether Revelator) is a Dim Session that charged and e/invoked a supposed  prospect of self, neither-either-or the past or present, a thirdscene for what may-be. This working utilized radically different Sceptres (instruments) to commune with cassette tape recordings of my voice in the past speaking with a Spirit Box while performing with drums, glossalilia, guitar and more.

More about the PROSPECTRE ritual:

EVERYTHING WAS PERFORMED LIVE. In the beginning I play a cassette tape of me asking questions to the spiritbox whilst channeling some Max Roachisms on a drum set to churn the psychic gas - this was an experiment of the hauntological prisms of a past self communing with the OTHER while I remained anchored in the present with reactive performance. The HQ Audio mix has my cassette recordings of the ritual sync'd to the full, unedited recording - however, tape speeds vary. This ritual was performed using a spiritbox , drumset, baritone electric guitar, vocals, looping and glossolalia - nothing planned, everything improvised as with all Dim Sessions. This working will be decoded utilizing the ALW Cipher (as newly anointed AGENT 333 of LISTENING POST ALPHA) and available via HAUNT MANUAL soon. Dimming Room Ritual Set-Up  The video documentation of the ritual used on-camera projections, experimental lighting and a milieu of instruments new to the liminalstream Dim Session format; unfortunately, the footage is simply too dark to see what's happening musickally. No matter, I decided to conjure some cut-up videomancy utilizing an array of psychedelic and hypnagogic personal and collaborator footage (skull animations by Logan Ford) so that the HQ audio mix of this ritual is tethered appropriately. No audio was edited out of the entire ritual - everything you hear was as it was - with some ghostly tape schisms of cassette recordings of this ritual mixed in. The true videomantic parallel lies in the unearthed footage I found of me deconstructing and burning my altar 5 years ago (you can read about the ritual here: https://wethehallowed.org/audiomancy-the-night-thief/ ), right after exalting the name REVEL ROSZ and the bounties of 2017. I don't burn antiques often, just the ones that have so much of my psychical detritus imprinted on them that were already broken to begin with.
