In our hyper-connected digital age, it is easier to connect with family, friends, and even digital strangers more than ever before, yet studies reveal more people report feeling profoundly alone. For decades many have studied and tried to diagnose and discover the psychological and social reasons for overwhelming loneliness and despair. The fundamental reason for loneliness is more than a psychological or social problem, rather the roots of loneliness are fundamentally a spiritual problem.

Today as we examine the Scriptures together, we will turn to one of the most sobering, yet hope-filled passages in all of the Bible. We will see both the gravity of unrepentant sin and the overwhelming mercy of the cross. 

In today’s text, we see a list of eight categories of people who will not be in heaven. This is certainly not an exhaustive list of every sin, nor is it a checklist stating that if you have committed any of these 8 sins you are eternally condemned and beyond God’s mercy and forgiveness.

As the 2025-2026 academic year has wrapped up, I wanted to say I am proud of the students of Northpoint Bible College and Seminary. We wanted to share my presidential address to the graduating class of 2026. Even though it was given to the students, the content of this message speaks to any believer who loves the Lord, believes in His soon return and wants to be used by God in greater ways.

In this study, we will examine the life and example of a great evangelist and face the following 3 challenges:

1. Do not despise the day of small beginnings.

2. Settle the authority of Scripture once and for all by faith.

3. Never forget that there is no greater cause than winning the lost.

Imagine a people group, repeatedly conquered, exiled, and scattered across the entire globe for nearly 1,900 years. Their ancient capital lies in ruins. Their language is mostly dead outside of religious texts. Their homeland is a backwater province ruled by successive empires. Every empire that tried to eradicate them has all failed. Against overwhelming odds they flourish as a technological, economic, agricultural, military powerhouse. But perhaps the most astonishing of all this is that it was all predicted in remarkable detail by Hebrew prophets more than 2,500 years ago!

In today's study I would like to focus on 3 main points that provide substantial evidence that prove why this single Bible prophecy is considered by most scholars to be the greatest prophecy that has been fulfilled in our lifetime:

1) Prophetic Precision - Ancient Predictions Fulfilled in Our Lifetime

2) Promise Preservation - God’s Unbreakable Covenants Faithfully Kept

3) Powerful Proof - Its Irrefutability Among All Prophecies
