Your kids don't read because you don't read. Your parents stop reading because they're so consumed by what they see. They're trying to make sure they're current with the rest of their relatives that they're forgetting that they also still need to read.

If your health is not that great you're gonna prioritize other things not thinking reading can help it. But reading can do so many great things for your health.

If your babies don't see that you're reading and you don't read to your babies, your child's academics may suffer because no one's reading to your child. If you have children, you should have books in your home. And if you do not have a dictionary of thesaurus or books that educate your children outside of school, then yes, at a certain level of your child's education will suffer.

Having a computer and having access to the Internet is not the only answer and should not be the only way you get answers.

People today too scared to care,

love,

show up,

feel something real, that requires a change they are capable of,

be better,

try,

too scared to be selfless and okay with giving the love they gave,

too scared to be in a position to be chosen...

I really wanna skip the beginning part of whatever love story is worth my time and get to me and that man in our 60s in our 70s because thinking of the now is so exhausting because it's too much anticipation as to who is it?!?

How many more no's in more people before I get there, type shit.

And with the people today and how they make decisions today is so yuck.

The way people throw away people who are good for them because they're scared of growing is so yuck.

The word "lynch law" originated in Virginia during the 1770s.

Post-Reconstruction (1877–1950s): After the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, lynching transformed into a systematic tool of racial terror & social control to re-establish white supremacy.
