Hold On by Wilson PhillipsI know there’s pain
Why do you lock yourself up in these chains?
No one can change your life except for you
Don’t ever let anyone step all over you
Just open your heart and your mind
Is it really fair to feel this way inside? Some day somebody’s gonna make you want to
Turn around and say goodbye
Until then baby are you going to let them
Hold you down and make you cry
Don’t you know?
Don’t you know things can change
Things’ll go your way
If you hold on for one more day
Can you hold on for one more day
Things’ll go your way
Hold on for one more dayYou could sustain
Or are you comfortable with the pain?
You’ve got no one to blame for your unhappiness
You got yourself into your own mess
Lettin’ your worries pass you by
Don’t you think it’s worth your time
To change your mind? Some day somebody’s gonna make you want to
Turn around and say goodbye
Until then baby are you going to let them
Hold you down and make you cry
Don’t you know?
Don’t you know things can change
Things’ll go your way
If you hold on for one more day
Can you hold on for one more day
Things’ll go your way
Hold on for one more dayI know that there is pain
But you hold on for one more day and
Break free the chains
Yeah I know that there is pain
But you hold on for one more day and you
Break free, break from the chainsSome day somebody’s gonna make you want to
Turn around and say goodbye
Until then baby are you going to let them
Hold you down and make you cry
Don’t you know?
Don’t you know things can change
Things’ll go your way
If you hold on for one more day yeah
If you hold onDon’t you know things can change
Things’ll go your way
If you hold on for one more day
If you hold on
Can you hold on
Hold on baby
Won’t you tell me now
Hold on for one more day ’cause
It’s gonna go your wayDon’t you know things can change
Things’ll go your way
If you hold on for one more day
Can’t you change it this timeMake up your mind
Hold on

Spirit in the Sky by Norman GreenbaumWhen I die and they lay me to rest
Gonna go to the place that’s the best
When I lay me down to die
Goin’ up to the spirit in the sky

That’s where I’m gonna go when I die
When I die and they lay me to rest
Gonna go to the place that’s the bestPrepare yourself you know it’s a must

So you know that when you die
He’s gonna recommend you
To the spirit in the sky
Gonna recommend you

When you die and they lay you to rest
You’re gonna go to the place that’s the bestNever been a sinner I never sinned

Just Breathe by Pearl JamLyrics
Yes I understand
That every life must end
As we sit alone
I know someday we must goYeah I’m a lucky man
To count on both hands
The ones I love
Some folks just have one
Yeah others they got noneStay with me
Let’s just breathePracticed on our sins
Never gonna let me win
Under everything
Just another human beingI don’t want to hurt
There’s so much in this world
To make me believeStay with me
All I seeDid I say that I need you?
Did I say that I want you?
What if I did and I’m a fool you see
No one knows this more than me
‘Cause I come cleanI wonder everyday
As I look upon your face
Everything you gave
And nothing you would take
Nothing you would take
Everything you gaveDid I say that I need you?
Did I say that I want you?
What if I did and I’m a fool you see
No one knows this more than me
I come cleanNothing you would take
Everything you gave
Hold me ’till I die

Norm life baby
We’re white and oh so hetero
And our sex is missionaryNorm life baby
We’re quitters and we’re sober
Our confessions will be televisedYou and I are under dosed and we’re ready to fall
Raised to be stupid, taught to be nothing at allI don’t like the drugs but the drugs like me
I don’t like the drugs, the drugs the drugsNorm life baby
Our god is white and unforgiving
We’re piss tested and we’re prayingNorm life baby
I’m just a sample of a soul
Made to look just like a human beingNorm life baby
We’re rehabbed and we’re ready
For our fifteen minutes of shameNorm life baby
We’re talk shown and we’re pointing
Just like Christians at a suicideYou and I are under dosed and we’re ready to fall
Raised to be stupid, taught to be nothing at allI don’t like the drugs but the drugs like me
I don’t like the drugs, the drugs the drugsThere’s a hole in our soul that we fill with dope

Homeward Bound by Simon & GarfunkelLyrics
I’m sitting in the railway station
Got a ticket to my destination
On a tour of one-night stands my suitcase and guitar in hand
And every stop is neatly planned for a poet and a one-man band
Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home where my thought’s escaping
Home where my music’s playing
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for meEvery day’s an endless stream
Of cigarettes and magazines
And each town looks the same to me, the movies and the factories
And every stranger’s face I see reminds me that I long to be
Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home where my thought’s escaping
Home where my music’s playing
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for meTonight I’ll sing my songs again
I’ll play the game and pretend
But all my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity
Like emptiness in harmony I need someone to comfort me
Homeward bound
I wish I was
Homeward bound
Home where my thought’s escaping
Home where my music’s playing
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for me

My Mind Is My Enemy by Praga KhanLyrics
I Like To Pretend That Nothing Has Changed
But All I Ever Loved You Just Took It Away
There’s A Knife In My Chest
I Go To Sleep But Not To Rest
What Was Once Will Never Be
Past Looks Better Than Reality
It’s Like A War Inside Of Me
When My Mind Becomes My EnemyMy Mind Is My Enemy
Used And Abused By So Called Friends
It’s Hard To Accept You’re One Of Them
You Took It All, What Was Left Of Me
My Pride, Respect, My Dignity
You Killed Me Once, Now You Kill Me Again
It’s Tough For Me To Understand
It’s Like A Warzone, Deep Inside Of Me
When My Mind Becomes My EnemyMy Mind Is My Enemy
I Close My Eyes Out Of Desperation
My Soul Is Praying For Salvation
Let Me Fade Away Into An Endless Sleep
There Will Be No One Left To Weep
A One Way Needle To The Stars
Where I Can Find Peace In My Users Heart
It’s Like A War Inside Of Me
