Re-examining the legacy of Caroline Flack

    Hello hello,

Today’s episode of Shameless touches on themes of suicide and self-harm. Help is available and you are not alone. You can reach out to Lifeline Australia, or, if you’re an international listener, please visit Find A Helpline.

Coming up on today’s show: British TV presenter Caroline Flack died by suicide on February 15, 2020. At the time of her death, Caroline was facing domestic abuse allegations, awaiting trial, and experiencing a full-scale pillorying in the British tabloids. Now, a new documentary, led by her mother Christine, is raising some serious questions about the validity of that domestic violence charge, and the circumstances that led to Caroline’s ultimately preventable death.

Thankyou so much to Cancer Council and the Australian Government for making this episode of Shameless possible. Let’s end the trend of skin cancer. Also, shoutout to All’s Fair on Disney+

You can watch Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth here

In this episode, Zara recommended Mongrel by Hanako Footman. Mich does not recommend promising infinite cameos to thousands of listeners (but no regrets of course ;) ).

On today’s show: What in the world is going on with Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and that Halloween costume? Plus, The Girls Bathroom has launched a lifestyle brand, and people have thoughts that we’d like to counter. Timothee Chalamet has some rather candid, and blunt, thoughts on having kids.
