More For Less Podcast
What better time to test recording stats, methods, volumes, etc. than the 45th episode?!? Let me know how it sounds compared to last week.
Just a little recap to start this week. Some good foods and a few "pops," recouping a getting ready for the bulk of events upcoming.Â
The month of May is birthday heavy in my family, including mine. What's to come for the cheat/bday weekend?!? Have a listen and find out.Â
No recipe this week, but rounding out the episode with an "Algo-Check."Â Biggest takeaway this week, a 1995 article from "The Shark," Greg Norman!
Hope you enjoy.
Let me know how the new recording sounds. Â

We're back, and heavy on some golf recap! First big golf event of the year, and couldn't resist recapping the weekend a bit (just wouldn't be a More For Less episode without the weekly recap). Good times, good buds, good golf...what's not to love?!?
Hit another algo check, and change the plan on the fly. Ending with a little dry brine/recipe/grillin talk. Â
Have no fear, the previously recorded episode is not lost. It might not be great, but there will be some BONUS CONTENT coming in a few days.
I'm also very pleased to report, we're no longer 0'fer on the email front! Hit us up at [email protected] and drop a line.
Â
Another new episode, sitting in the basement and talking into the abyss. The "algo check" segment becoming a go to, but not a lot to report there this week. Dip a toe back into the smoking world, with a recent chicken expedition. Then rounding it all out, a little info and experience sharing with a new kitchen untensil. Enjoy!
Â
Welcome back, Gang! This week we recap a recent golf trip to Cheraw, SC. The "Algo Check" this week is also golf, golf, golf with the Masters upcoming. Then we round out the episode with a long overdue recipe/method for my favorite salmon. Hope you enjoy! Leave a comment, rate/review, subscribe and share with a friend.Â
Â
Happy Easter!
Cast is back this week with an algo check, salmon and an NCAA Madness mishap (oopsie!). Then getting into the beef of the pod, with a tasty/useful kitchen tool and method. The sous vide.Â
Hope you enjoy!
We're back on schedule!
Not much in the way of "recap" this week, or news (thank goodness). Settling in on an algo suggestion I came across recently, especially if you're looking to get into golf or focus on a particular part of your swing (all while laughing at the same time). Â
Then I share some thoughts, tips & tricks on one of my favorite kitchen/cooking tools...the cast iron skillet (really more cast iron in general).Â
Hope you enjoy!
Â
Little behind schedule on this one, apologies. I won't make it a habit, for you "avid listeners."
Recapping a recent return to poker, by way of a trip to Vegas. Importance of sleep. And a brief, first look, through my "news" algorithm. Enjoy!
Â
An eye opening return to familiar shopping location. A handy new product obtained from a recent Chef cooking class experience. Everyone's favorite, spring forward/fall back, Daylight Savings Time. Come enjoy another episode!
Â
Â
PS. It was Mandela! The Mandela Effect!
Another Wednesday, another episode! I'm solo this week, so back to whatever pops into my head. Sharing a little "meditation" technique presented itself, so I traveled down that path for a bit. Then, a rediscovered food treat from the past, but using it in a new fashion these days. Subscribe, share, leave a comment.....above all else.....just enjoy the day. Â
Welcome back Gang! We (I) get a little loose on this one. I'm joined this week by special guest, Cim! This go round, we try out an idea we've been discussing, comparing and reviewing some of our favorite food and beverage. First up had to be our favorite adult beverage, brews (IPAs specifically). We acquire some local favorites, throw in a popular national brand, and get to tasting! Hope you enjoy! Disclaimer We ARE NOT professionals, just fans of IPAs.
Â
Welcome back gang! This week, I discuss a couple topics floating around the old noggin, along with getting excited about some upcoming adventures. Spending time with family is important and something I think we all lose sight of, as daily life gets in the way. Â
I also recently ventured into the world of cooking with a smoker (OK, only once thus far but it's exciting!). Â
Take a break from the daily "blah" and have a listen!
