She Was a WWE Champion. Then Childbirth Left Her Unable to Walk.

Have you ever gotten hurt doing the most normal thing in the world and had almost no one believe you? Same.
Former WWE Superstar Leah Van Dale spent years in the ring without a single major injury, and then went into labor with her first son and came out with nerve damage in her leg. We talk about that, plus the WWE title she won by cheating, meeting her husband while he was technically still married, and why she built an entire podcast around being a mom who refuses to stop being hot.
If any of that sounds familiar, then this one's for you. And remember to subscribe to my Patreon at Patreon.com/lauraclery for exclusives and other perks.

    the hardest part of motherhood

My son can't be left alone for ten seconds — I found that out again this morning when he hopped our front gate in his boxers and beat me to school on his own scooter.
By the time I caught up he was mid-meltdown on campus, and I walked away scratched and bitten and trying not to spiral. I get into what actually helped — a book I'm currently obsessed with, the exact phrases I use to talk him down, and why I think last night's birthday-party sugar had a lot to do with it. Then we lighten it way up: my daughter's new favorite phrase, a week of creatine and some concerning bloat, and whether it's a bad idea to bring my ex-boyfriend to a wedding in Cabo.

can men and women actually be friends?

How are you doing today, on a scale of one to ten? I ask because I've had a wildly up-and-down week -- feral ovulation, a UTI supplement I will die on a hill for, and a very failed attempt at celibacy.
I opened Facebook up to any question, and today I answer every single one of them, including the ones I probably shouldn't have.
    Come along.

i don't want to do this anymore

I don't think I like doing these solo episodes anymore. I said it out loud and I'm not taking it back.
So today's a real one -- my throat's doing something disgusting, I'm restructuring the whole show, my son's about to try surfing for the first time, and I somehow ended up reading a horny romance novella and diagnosing myself as a love addict.
come sit with me while I figure out what this show even is now.

If your child has Autism, watch this, with Dr. Robert Melillo

When this doctor was told his child’s diagnosis, he was told he couldn’t do anything about it. He thought that was wrong. So Dr. Robert Melillo dove into how the brain works to try to figure out the cause of conditions like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. You won’t believe what he found. And he now treats it all by changing the brain. It’s pretty mind-blowing and better yet hopeful. Jump into how the left side and right side of the brain work with me. I found out my brain is probably out of balance. Maybe yours is, too? As a reminder, my new book What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Hotter is available wherever books are sold. my mom loves drag

My mom is at it again, bringing surprise opinions and stories of yesteryear. Like, did you know when she was growing up there was a dance every Friday and Saturday night? Or that she is one of 9 brothers and sisters? Or that she LOVES “RuPaul’s Drag Race”? We also talk about me having a night away from the kids where I hung with my besties, hit the beach, and had an intense spa treatment. I also met a queen who went wild on some straight boys. It was quite a night. So join us as we discuss this and more.  Plus, as a reminder, my new book What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Hotter is available wherever books are sold. Anyway, come along with my mom and me and find out what racy titles she and her book club have been reading. And if you’re up for a great read of your own, my new book What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Hotter is out wherever books are sold.
