Chad is just a regular guy from Pittsburgh with a podcast focused on real, raw stories.
Ho Ho Ho boys and girls! Grab some hot cocoa or egg-nog and gather round for a very nostalgic Christmas Special with the one and only, Read Connolly! When Read is not keeping the Christmas spirit alive, you can find him pickin' a banjo or playing on a pedal steel on some of the biggest stages in the world.
Read is a world class musician who has a very strong passion for Christmas. A little while back, he reached out and asked if we could do an episode revolving around christmas music and some of more unique choices that are out there! This week we dive into our childhoods what the holidays mean to us, some history about Santa, a deep dive into his Christmas record collection, and so much more!
Sit back for a great coversation between friends touching on all the reason we love the holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours! See yinz in 2026!

Over the last few years I've completely fell in love with reading and this week I sit down with the owner of my favorite bookshop in the city Beyond Bedtime Books. - Jamie Grassman started selling rare children's books online way before she had her own shop. She would source books, list them online, and ship them all over the world. When that started to take off, she decided it was time to expand and open up a place of her own! - Beyond Bedtime Books is a used bookstore in the heart of Dormont and a staple to the community. She has been providing people with gently used books for over 15 years and this week, she stops by and tells me all about it! We talk about how she got into reading, the history of the shop, choosing and managing her inventory, our love for Stephen King, and so much more. Hope yinz enjoy the episode as much as I did!
