Jeffās most well-known as the guitarist for the Smashing Pumpkins. He initially took James Ihaās place and was with the band from 2007 to his amicable departure in October 2023. He recorded five studio albums with the band and after bandleader Billy Corgan, and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, Jeff was the third-longest-serving member of the group.
