Matt talks about his experience with addiction and how it relates to artists in general. We finish the episode by both give our opinions on modern rappers who talk about drug use in their music. First things first, RIP Lil Peep. Since we recorded this episode before he passed away next week we will talk more about Peep, his legacy and the prescription drug epidemic's influence over hip-hop. Then we talk about Meek Mill's recent legal troubles and how his story is part of a much larger problem within our legal system. Since this is supposed to be a comedy podcast we end the episode a much lighter note when we pick our five worst hip hop songs of all time.

We talk about our favorite old curmudgeon in hip hop Joe Budden. This time he is angry about Chance The Rapper's performance on The Late Show with Steven Colbert. We discuss their beef, Budden's reaction (which we partially agree with) and whether Chance is over or underrated. We close the show by talking about the god Kendrick Lamar and then we try to pick our favorite Kendrick verse(s).

During our triumphant return we discuss Eminem's four minute long acapella Donald Trump diss at The BET Awards. We also talk about the reactions to this diss from both Trump fans and liberals. Lastly, we read the dumbest comment in the history of the internet. Seriously.

This week controversial rapper XXXTentacion calls into the podcast to discuss his new album "17" and he has a neat message for his fans. We drank a lot of coffee before this episode and both of us have ADHD so there a ton of topics we cover including: the new wave of SoundCloud rappers, bitter old hip-hop fans, the Kanye West and Taylor Swift hip-hop beef of the decade. We also introduce our first edition of a new series called reading old music forums. This week we read posts from the month that Kanye West dropped his classic debut album The College Dropout in 2004. Lastly, our friend Quavo from Migos laces us with a new track that features him doing ad-libs over the Star Spangled Banner.
