HBO's Game of Thrones finally returns - for its eighth and final season - on April 14, twenty months after the season-seven finale, which would seem like a ridiculously long time except that we've already been waiting eight years for the sixth book in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, upon which the series is based. So, like Albert Einstein said, time is relative (which he explained this way, God bless him: "When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity.").
