This Is Living, Part 3: Finding Peace // Chris Podlich

Most of us know what it feels like to have our peace under attack. The news, the parenting load, the work stress, the comparison spiral, it's relentless. And no matter how much we try to solve or control our way to calm, real peace always seems just out of reach.

If your peace feels fragile, borrowed, or just completely missing, this one has something real to offer.

This Is Living, Part 2: Opposite Day // Chris Podlich

What's actually giving you confidence right now? Maybe it's what you own, what you've accomplished, or what people think of you. And if you're honest, those things matter more than you'd like to admit.

We all do it. We build our lives around what we have, what we do, and what others think. And when it's going well, it feels like living. But here's the problem: we're all one mistake or misfortune away from losing it all. And the moment we lose the things we're confident in, we lose our security. And when we lose our security, we lose joy.

If you're exhausted from keeping all the balls in the air, or quietly wondering if the life you're building is actually going to deliver, this one's worth your time.

This Is Living, Part 1: How To Lead A Fulfilling Life // Chris Podlich

There's a version of life we all picture. More joy. More peace. More of those moments where you think to yourself, this is living. But if we're honest, most of us feel something else: striving after something that never quite satisfies, surviving a season that won't end, or just going through the motions wondering if there's more.

In Part 1 of This Is Living, we open in the most unlikely place -- a jail cell. The Apostle Paul is under house arrest in Rome, chained to guards, uncertain of his future. And somehow, he writes what is considered the most joyful letter in the entire New Testament.

More contentment than most of us have on any given free day.

How? And what does it have to do with the life you're actually living right now?

Whether you're in the middle of something heavy or just looking for more than what you've got, this one's for you.

Questions For Jesus, Part 4: The Hardest Question // Chris Podlich

Of all the questions people submitted for this series, one came back more than any other.

This one: if God is good and God is powerful, why is the world this broken?

It's the question that has ended more faith journeys than probably any other.

In this final episode of Questions for Jesus, Chris doesn't offer a neat theological solution. Because there isn't one. What he does instead is take an honest look at what Jesus actually did in the face of human suffering. And it's not what most people expect.

Questions for Jesus, Part 2: Jesus, Was Dying Worth It? // Chris Podlich

If God is all-powerful, why couldn't he just forgive without the cross? Why did Jesus have to die at all? And honestly, given the state of the world, was it even worth it?

These are some of the most common questions we received, and they're good ones. In Part 2 of Questions for Jesus, Chris Podlich tackles them head-on by reframing the question most people are actually asking.

It turns out forgiveness has never been free. Someone always pays. The real question isn't whether a cost had to be absorbed. It's who chose to absorb it, and why.

Whether you grew up in church and never quite got a straight answer to this, or you're coming at this fresh with no background at all, this episode is for you.

Questions for Jesus, Part 1: No Reason to Panic About the Bible // Chris Podlich

We all have questions about faith. The kind that keep you up at night. The kind you hope nobody asks you. And maybe the kind that brought you here in the first place.

In Part 1 of Questions for Jesus, Chris Podlich digs into one of the most common questions we received: Are the Gospels actually reliable accounts of real historical events?

From ancient manuscripts to non-Christian sources, from P46 to why a first-century Galilean peasant is more historically documented than the Roman Emperor of his day, Chris makes the case that the foundation of Christian faith is a lot more solid than most people realize.

Whether you've followed Jesus for years, you're just starting to explore faith, or you've got questions nobody ever gave you a real answer to, this episode is for you.

Eater 2026: From Unbelief to Belief // Chris Podlich

Most people have heard the Easter story. Fewer have heard it told through the eyes of someone who refused to believe it.

Thomas was one of Jesus' closest followers. He watched the crucifixion, went into hiding, and when everyone around him started claiming Jesus was alive again, his response was basically: prove it. Dead people don't come back. He wasn't being dramatic. He was being rational.

In this Easter message, Chris Podlich makes the case that the resurrection of Jesus isn't a story for the credulous. It's a historical event with eyewitnesses, skeptics, and real-world consequences. And the question worth sitting with isn't just whether it happened. It's what it means if it did.

Because if it's true, it changes everything. Not just in some vague, spiritual sense. Everything.

This one's for the Thomas in all of us.

Good Friday 2026: Death of A King // Chris Podlich

Most people have a version of this story. God created, things went wrong, Jesus died, believe and go to heaven. It's tidy. It's familiar. And according to the Apostle Paul, it's missing the point.

In this Good Friday episode, Chris Podlich makes the case that Jesus didn't go to Jerusalem simply to forgive sins. He went there to pick a fight with death itself. And he won.

Paul described it in first-century warfare language: the taunting of a defeated enemy. A king returning from battle, covered in victory. That's the frame this whole message is built on.

If you've heard the Good Friday story a hundred times, this one might land differently.

Death to the King // Chris Podlich

Most of us have a version of Jesus that's pretty convenient. And maybe that's the problem.

He's there when you need him. A bit of comfort when life falls apart, maybe a quick prayer when things get desperate. And when everything's fine? He can wait.

But what if the people who actually knew Jesus, who spent years with him, eating with him, travelling with him, watching him do things nobody could explain, what if they walked away thinking something completely different? Not that they'd met a religious figure. Not a life coach or a motivational speaker. But a King.

In this episode, Chris Podlich takes a look at the events leading up to Easter and asks a question that's hard to shake. What if the version of Jesus most of us have been handed is a watered down one? And what does it mean if the real version is actually bigger, stranger, and more demanding than we ever thought?

You don't need to be religious to find this one interesting. You just need to be the kind of person who isn't satisfied with easy answers.

Give it a listen. It might surprise you.

The King Who Changes Everything, Part 3: A Relentless King // Chris Podlich

The writers of the New Testament consistently pointed out that Jesus's primary role was a king who had come to establish God’s kingdom on earth. Not to rescue people out of the world, but to transform the world itself.  And everyone is invited to participate in it.  Not someday in heaven, but right now in their families, workplaces and communities.
