- 25 minutes 21 seconds164 | Relax With a Scripture Reading: The Word That Brings Light to Your Darkest Nights
Friend, what happens when you speak the Word of God over your mind and your sleep?
In this episode, I continue our Scripture reading from Genesis 1 into John 1 as we uncover who the Word is, why the Word of God is alive and powerful, and what happens when we speak and meditate on His Word. We’ll reflect on how Jesus—the true Light—pierces through anxiety, fear, and unbelief to create peace in our minds and, ultimately, peace in our rest.
If exhaustion and sleep deprivation have left your mind restless, allow this Christian night prayer and sleep meditation to help you relax, set aside the heavy load you’ve been carrying, and focus your mind on Jesus as you drift into sweet sleep.

24 August 2026, 12:05 am - 34 minutes 56 seconds162 | Relax as Jesus Comforts a Widow’s Broken Heart (Bedtime Story & Sleep Meditation)
If grief, loneliness, or uncertainty becomes louder when you lie down at night, I created this episode for you.
In this Bible-based bedtime story, I introduce you to Lauren, a fictional widow whose journey is loosely inspired by Ruth. After suddenly losing her husband, Lauren finds herself facing a future she never planned for. When memories, unanswered questions, and the weight of tomorrow keep her awake, God brings two Scriptures to her mind: Psalm 147:3 and Psalm 68:6.
As you listen, I will gently guide you to release your shoulders, slow your breathing, and repeat God’s Word with Lauren. This peaceful sleep meditation will help you relax when emotional heaviness, exhaustion, or sleep deprivation has made it difficult to quiet your mind.
If you have been searching for a night prayer Christian women can listen to when their hearts feel overwhelmed, allow this story to remind you that God sees your pain, meets you in loneliness, and remains present in the uncertain middle of your story.
You do not need to stay awake until the end. Let the Scriptures give your mind somewhere safe to rest, and allow yourself to gently drift into peaceful sleep.
Play this episode as many times as you need.

18 August 2026, 3:34 am - 37 minutes 22 seconds161 | If You’re Sick of Dreading Bedtime, This One Shift Can Help You Relax and Sleep Better
Do you ever get into bed already feeling tense… like you’re bracing yourself for another night of not sleeping?
Maybe you tell yourself things like, “I’m going to be up all night again,” or you wake up at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. and immediately start thinking about how exhausted you’re going to feel tomorrow. That cycle can make bedtime feel heavy instead of restful.
In this episode of Sweet Sleep with Jesus, we’re having a simple, honest conversation about something most of us don’t always notice—the words we keep repeating in our minds at night, and how they can quietly shape our experience of rest.
We’re looking at what Jesus said in John 10:10 about abundant life, and also what Proverbs 18:20–21 says about the power of our words. Because if abundant life is real, then it has to include more than just our daytime hours—it has to include our nights too.
And this is where things get practical.
A lot of the time, when we’re dealing with exhaustion or sleep deprivation, we start speaking from that place without even realizing it. We describe our sleep in a way that agrees with fear instead of what God says. And over time, that can reinforce the very patterns we’re trying to break.
So in this episode, I walk through what it looks like to notice those patterns without shame, and begin shifting them—not by forcing sleep, but by renewing how we think and what we say when we can’t sleep.
You’ll hear how Scriptures like Joshua 1:8 and Proverbs 3:24 can become practical anchors when your mind feels busy at night, and how even something as simple as changing your internal language can help you move toward a quieter mind and more restful sleep.
This isn’t about pretending everything is fine when it doesn’t feel fine. It’s about learning how to stop agreeing with fear in those quiet nighttime moments, and instead begin speaking in a way that lines up with truth.
If you’ve been searching for how to sleep better, especially when your mind won’t slow down, this conversation will meet you right there.
And if you want to go deeper, I am hosting a free Get Better Sleep Masterclass where I’ll walk you through a simple way to identify one thought that keeps your mind racing and replace it with Scripture in a practical, doable way.

10 August 2026, 12:05 am - 34 minutes 55 seconds160 | Can’t Relax Because You’re Afraid You Won’t Sleep? Try This Before Bed Tonight
Have you ever said, “I already know I’m not going to sleep tonight,” “My mind never shuts off,” or “Nothing works for me”? Those words may have started as honest descriptions of difficult nights, but repeated often enough, fear can turn them into conclusions about what must happen next.
In this episode, I’m helping you recognize the difference between acknowledging what you are experiencing and allowing fear to have the final word over your sleep. We’ll look at how David poured out his feelings honestly before God while still returning to God’s character and His Word. You’ll also learn a simple, Scripture-rooted way to identify one fear-shaped sleep statement and replace it with truth.
If exhaustion and sleep deprivation have made it difficult to relax, this episode will help you approach your nights with greater awareness, faith, and hope. Whether you have been searching for a night prayer Christian women can use when anxious thoughts rise or a Scripture-based sleep meditation to quiet a racing mind, this teaching will help you bring those thoughts under the authority of God’s Word without denying how you feel.

You’ll discover how a consistent practice of Scriptural mind renewal can support the peaceful, deep, and restful sleep you’ve been praying for.
Use this episode alongside your night prayer Christian routine or sleep meditation practice as you learn to answer anxious thoughts with God’s truth, cast your cares onto Him, and receive the peace He has already promised you.

13 July 2026, 12:05 am - 33 minutes 44 seconds156 | You’re Doing the Right Things—So Why Can’t You Relax and Sleep? This May Be Why
When you hear the words, “God loves you,” do you truly believe them?
Or have they become something you hear so often as a Christian that you receive them out of routine without really understanding what they mean?
In this episode, I’m sharing a personal story about the season when I was walking with the Lord, standing on His Word, and seeing Him heal me from my sleep struggles — yet I still struggled to receive His love.
If you’ve been carrying exhaustion, dealing with sleep deprivation, or struggling to relax because your mind is filled with worry, fear, and unanswered questions, this episode will help you look at what may be happening beneath the surface.
Because knowing that God loves you changes the way you trust Him.
It changes the way you meditate on Scripture.
It changes the way you believe His promises.
And it changes the way you approach the thoughts and circumstances that keep following you into the night.
In this episode, I’ll share how God used Ephesians 3:14–21 to help me understand and experience His love in a real way. You’ll also learn why faith works through love, why receiving God’s love matters when you are standing on His Word, and how trusting that He truly cares for you can help restore peace to your mind and body.
This night prayer Christian episode is for the woman who has tried to meditate on Scripture but still finds herself wondering, “Is this really going to work for me?”
It is more than a sleep meditation.
It is an invitation to be honest with God, ask Him to reveal His love to you, and begin trusting His Word from a place of knowing that you are deeply loved.
God cares about what keeps you awake.
He cares about the exhaustion you are carrying.
He cares about your sleep deprivation.
And He wants you to know that His love is not just something Christians say.
It is something you can experience, believe, and live from.
As you listen, my prayer is that you will begin to understand how wide, how long, how high, and how deep God’s love is for you — and that this revelation will help you relax, renew your mind, and receive the sweet sleep He gives to those He loves.
