Every person has the ability to ruin their life, but not a single person can redeem it. What do you do when you’re in too deep, over your head? Where do you turn when your secrets catch up with you and threaten to dismantle your life completely? Is that too raw and real to ask? Apparently not so for the Bible.

All of us long for security and rest. And while the world promises us rest and security in many things, it fails to truly deliver. Psalm 62 reveals how we can find true security and rest in God that can withstand the pressures of our age.

There are billions of stars within billions of galaxies. In such a vast universe, where humans are so small, how can we confidently say our lives matter at all and aren’t totally insignificant? What gives us meaning in environments that often feel dehumanizing?

Where can we find the freedom to be honest about our pain and the assurance that our pain will never have the last word?

Consider the question we ask people: “Where do you hope to be in five, ten, or twenty years?” The biblical authors, if asked the same, could not imagine a better future than being in God’s presence. But where is this, and how do we get there?

How do we live with stability when everything in life gets shaky? Where do we find peace in a frenzied world?

Religious or irreligious, everybody worships. And what we worship shapes who we are, for better or for worse. The question isn’t whether you worship. The question is what or who you are worshipping right now, and what its influence is upon you.

Does my life truly matter, and what will define the legacy I leave? Paul’s final words in 2 Timothy 4:6–8 show legacy is defined not by accomplishments or failures but by faithfulness: “I fought the good fight, I finished the race, I have kept the faith.” That truth calls us to long obedience in everyday acts of obedience, endurance to finish the race, faithful stewardship of the gospel, and confident hope in the crown of righteousness Christ awards to all who long for his appearing.
