The new and final series of Quickly Kevin will launch on Monday 22nd April with.. Glenn Hoddle! We've got some extra special guests in these last few weeks and we can't wait for you to hear it. But if you'd like to join the QK Fan Club (via AnotherSlice.com/QuicklyKevin or your Apple podcast app), the series will start on Monday 15th April and we'll also finish the third Steve Bruce murder mystery too!
Speaking of which, we've got a treat for you this week: it's the first Chapter of the second Steve Bruce classic: Sweeper!
Steve is up to his old tricks as he sets up the new mystery at Leddersford Town and we meet suspicious janitor Old Sam and ponder just how much blood does Steve Barnes have on his hands already?....
This episode was recorded in March 2022.

Chapter 3 of the 3rd Bruce book (possibly our favourite) on the QK Fan Club - making sure we complete the trilogy, so to celebrate that.. we're dropping the first few chapters from the first book onto the main feed for the first time ever.
And of course, we'll be back in a few weeks for our final series (crying emoji).
And surprise! It's our second Chapter in a week: Chapter 4.
Things heat up over at Leddersford Town as Steve's agent rolls into town and a press conference about Duffy's killing leads to a revelation and yet another classic Brucian cliff-hanger...
Enjoy.
This episode was originally recorded in January 2021.
Don't forget if you want to binge the first two Bruce books now, you can join the QK Fan Club at AnotherSlice.com/quicklykevin or via your Apple podcast app.
We'll see you very soon for Chapter 5.

With the end of Quickly Kevin in May, we thought we might see if you might enjoy this 'best of' selection from Chris' other podcast with QK alumni Elis James and Tom Craine called 'Oh What A Time..'
Each week the trio delve into the rich tapestry of history to discuss things like "which famous historical character would you like to snog?", "would it be fun to observe the Beatles if you were stuck as a coffee table?" as well as attempting to dissect why custard simply isn't bigger than it is?
A different subject is tackled every Monday and Tuesday (last week was Love, this week Discoveries) assisted by an ACTUAL HISTORIAN and essentially we try to figure out if the past was awful (turns out that yes, it was).
There are new episodes every week, to give it a try, subscribe here: https://podfollow.com/oh-what-a-time

This week - Chapter 3.
This chapter is what you might call in the industry 'a little stagey' as the worlds longest interrogation takes place in Steve's much bigger than Eddie Carbury's office. And of course, Sir Lawrence storms in once again.
We also discuss some fantasy casting for the 'Striker' film adaptation.
This episode was originally recorded in December 2020.
