Courtney Gains joins RadioBypass!

You may know Courtney Gains from an extensive acting career that includes Children of the Corn, Back to the Future, Can't Buy Me Love, The 'Burbs, Memphis Belle and many more films and television appearances. But Courtney also has a long history as a musician, singer, songwriter and guitarist — and that's the side of his story we're exploring on RadioBypass.

Courtney joins us to talk about his musical journey, from his early days in the Los Angeles music scene through the different projects and collaborations that have helped shape him as an artist.

We also dig into his brand-new album, Liberation Day, the stories and inspiration behind the music, and where Courtney is headed next.

WICKED vocalist Chad Michael joins RadioBypass to talk about the band’s story and their new album, Go Rebel!

WICKED is a high-energy Rock and Roll band from New York, formed by brothers Chad Michael and Danny Martin, along with lead guitarist Scotty V and drummer Gunnar Coston. Blending the spirit and attitude of classic hard rock and heavy metal with a modern edge, WICKED has been building its audience on the road while sharing stages with artists including Raven, Vicious Rumors, Buckcherry, Ace Frehley and Metal Allegiance.

RadioBypass host Ralph Rasmussen first caught WICKED live during NAMM 2025, and now Chad joins us for his first RadioBypass interview to tell the story of the band and take us inside their sophomore album, Go Rebel.

We talk about how WICKED came together, Chad's musical journey with his brother Danny, the band's influences, and what living the Rock and Roll lifestyle means to them today. Chad also takes us inside Go Rebel, the meaning and attitude behind the album, working with Grammy-winning engineer Ignacio Molino, and the band's single “Bones.”

Todd Kerns joins RadioBypass for an in-depth conversation covering Triumph, Toque, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Minefield, Heroes & Monsters, Black Sonic Pearls, and an incredible Rock and Roll life!

This conversation has been a couple of years in the making. Mutual friend Mitch Perry first introduced Todd and RadioBypass host Ralph Rasmussen, and Todd and Ralph talked then about getting together for a RadioBypass interview. It took a little longer than planned—but considering everything happening in Todd's musical world right now, the timing couldn't have been much better.

One of the biggest topics is Triumph.

Todd takes us inside his experience joining Rik Emmett and Gil Moore for the Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded Tour, something he describes as among the most surreal experiences of his career. Growing up in Canada with Triumph's music in his DNA makes being part of the band's return especially meaningful.

Todd talks about stepping into the role originally held by Mike Levine while still bringing his own personality to the stage, working alongside Phil X and Brent Fitz, recreating those classic Triumph songs live, and the unforgettable moment when Rik Emmett asked him to sing “Fight the Good Fight.”

With a second leg of the Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded Tour announced, Todd also discusses what might change when the band heads back out and some of the Triumph music he'd love to tackle. 

We also dive into Toque, Todd's celebration of Canadian Rock and Roll with longtime musical partner Brent Fitz. Todd tells us how the band began, what Canadian rock means to him, and the story behind “Fighters,” which RadioBypass named one of our Top 11 Singles of 2025.

Todd shares the meaning behind “Fighters,” the unexpected hockey story that inspired one of its lyrics, and what's happening now with Toque—including their brand-new single “This Isn't Over.”

The conversation also takes us through Minefield, Heroes & Monsters, Blackbird Angels, Todd's collaborations with Black Sonic Pearls, the changing music business, why being a frontman has helped him become a better sideman, and why saying “yes” has played such an important role throughout his career.
