The Panthers began their 2024 MVC Tournament run with a 67-62 victory over the #5 seeded Belmont Bruins Friday afternoon. Tytan Anderson set a career and Panther post-season high with 19 rebounds, while notching a double-double with 19 points. Panthers also got 14 points from Jacob Hutson, 13 from Nate Heise and 11 from Trey Campbell. UNI's defense held Belmont to a season low in points and under 65 for just the third time this season. Up next is a showdown with the top seeded Indiana State Sycamores on Saturday in the semifinals at 2:30.

The Panthers picked up a key road victory over the SIU Salukis Sunday afternoon 82-70. UNI improved their record to 18-13 overall and 12-8 in Valley play, with a possible first round bye in the MVC tournament still a possibility. UNI got 19 from Bowen Born, 15 from Jacob Hutson and Tytan Anderson and 11 from Trey Campbell, while holding SIU to 39 percent shooting for the game. Winners of six of their last eight, UNI now waits for the reveal of the official bracket for Arch Madness as they look ahead to make a conference tournament run.

The Panthers dominated in their final regular season home game, defeating Valpo 68-54 on Tuesday night. The win is the 11th of the season at home for the Panthers. The most in a home season since 2019-20. The Panthers were led by Tytan Anderson who notched his second straight double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The win sets up a key regular season finale on the road at SIU where a win can clinch a first round bye in the MVC tournament for the Panthers.

The Panthers earned a huge home win Saturday evening, beating their rival Drake Bulldogs 91-77 in front of a crowd of more than 46-hundred people. Tytan Anderson led the way with 18 points and 18 rebounds. Nate Heise also posted an 18 point game as five Panthers scored in double figures. UNI has two games remaining, a visit from Valpo and trip to SIU, before they head to St. Louis for the MVC tournament.
