It's that time of year again

The mince pies are out in force, the weather is pretty miserable (applicable in the UK) and YouTube has released the second most disliked video on their platform.

That's right YouTube Rewind is back and this year it has been chastised for many reasons that we will be exploring within this weeks instalment of #LYE. We dissect the video and ponder what they could change about the concept next year to ensure they receive more likes than dislikes. Or at the very least not make it into the top 10 most disliked videos on the platform. That would be a start wouldn't it?

It's also the last episode in this series so to those of you who enjoy listening to us ramble and even enjoy reading these (if there are any of you?!) descriptions from the bottom of our hearts we thank you and look forward to returning in the new year with some shiny new concepts but we promise we will continue to Lower Your Expectations.

Is this the end of YouTube? That's the question we're exploring in this weeks episode of Lower Your Expectations. Following the passing of Article 13 YouTube could be held liable for all content uploaded within the EU and as a result this could see the platform banning any video that uses any third party content. That includes many of your favourites including Pewdiepie, Philip De Franco and Red Letter Media.

But why is this happening? When will it happen? Who's to blame? Is it a mistake?
