What's the best chaser for A24 movies? Full Moon Features! Jacki may have joked about it in the last episode but it was too good to pass up. The Ghouls are joined by Stephen and Chris from Analog Jones and the Temple of Film to chat about Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge & Demonic Toys!
Stephen and Chris bring their VHS knowledge to the show, Marissa has to face her childhood fears and Jacki has a hot take on what Demonic Toys is really all about. Do they get a little off topic from time to time? Absolutely! When gang gets together it's all about the laughs and sort of about the movies they've watched.
Analog Jones and the Temple of Film is a VHS podcast that looks at the box art, trailers and behind the scenes! Listen to their weekly episodes wherever you get your podcasts and follow them on Instagram & Facebook.

January is wrapped up with more A24 movies! Just what you need to spiral further down the existential crisis causing days of the dreary, bleak winter months. But turn that frown upside down because the Ghouls are joined by friend and frequent guest, Catie Moyer! She curated this episode and the gang dives into A Killing of a Sacred Deer and Beau is Afraid. The patriarchy, the matriarchy, a god complex, a king's hubris, mental health, and Jacki's nightmares are among the many topics of conversation.

Jacki and Marissa are once again joined by writer and podcaster Liz Williams from The Scariest Things Podcast to dive into A24 films. First they talk about why we love (and or sometimes hate) the unique production company and its films. Jacki, Marissa, and Liz then dive into The Blackcoat's Daughter and Saint Maud, two popular A24 horror films. The gang dives into the ideas of possession versus mental illness, the ambiguities of A24 films, and the trappings of organized religions. They do this all with a bit of fun and feminism mixed in!
Will Jacki finally come around and drink the A24 Kool-Aid? How many times will Marissa gush over these films?
Remember to check out Liz and the gang at Scariest Things, and follow their website for great lists, reviews, and festival buzz.
