Welcome back to THE X-CAST: AN X-FILES PODCAST, the Truth is In Here!

In a special episode, Carl Sweeney, Sarah Blair and Kurt North unite to discuss Chris Carter's new director's cut of I Want to Believe: Vrach Frankenshteyn.

With a brief to amp up the horror aspects of the second X-Files film, and now boasting a run time trimmed between 6-7 minutes, how does this new cut hold up? Is it definitive? Are there controversial choices? And why might this project be happening now?

In a special episode, Tony Black is joined again by the legend that is Chris Carter to discuss his new director's cut of The X-Files: I Want to Believe - Vrach Frankenshteyn.

Teased on various podcasts before, including our own, Chris talks about how the project came to be, the creative decisions around what to cut and add to the movie, what he wanted the feel of the new cut to be, and he teases a brand new movie he has made with his wife...

The Truth is Still in Here...

Welcome back to THE X-CAST: AN X-FILES PODCAST for an unexpected revival of the show!

Tony Black and Kurt North return to discuss the news we have all been waiting for - the announcement of Ryan Coogler's reboot of The X-Files, which has been given a pilot order on Hulu.

They unpack the detail on the press release, the one piece of known casting, whether we're dealing with a reboot or continuation, and just why we should be so excited about the next era of the franchise.

And yeah... this means we're back...
