Happy Holidays from the PodCulture crew!

Twenty years ago four geeks started a podcast and after a great run of episodes, they retired from podcasting to pursue other things. Now years later Brad, Glenn, Christina, and Adam, along with Andy (with cameos from Adam’s wife Cristalle and the crew’s various pets) reunite via Discord to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of PodCulture.
They will discuss the many shows that have come and gone since they last recorded, geek about gadgets, games, movies, TV, and of course there will be some weird drinks and food.
Music for this episode is: Tofurkey! by Trevor Goober and you can find it and other great music over at www.TheFUMP.com
And finally…what would any episode of the show be without a couple of post-credit needle scratches at the end!

Happy Holidays from the PodCulture crew!

Earlier this year The TARDIS Interruptus Crew lost one of their own. Professor Nick passed back in February of this year.
We wanted to do something in Nick’s honor when we gathered together via Discord to record the anniversary episodes for the main show so we recorded this special mini episode.
Nick was such a font of Whovian trivia and knowledge. His light will be missed.

After nearly a year lost in the time vortex the TARDIS Interruptus crew rematerializes with a brand-new episode!
Join Brad and Christina as they review and discuss The Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi’s regeneration into The Thirteenth Doctor Jodie Whittaker and her first adventure “The Woman Who Fell to Earth”

Hey everyone…Brad here!
The original recording of this episode was lost during a site move several years ago. I’ve gone back to the raw file and have recreated it as best I could.
All of the discussion between Adam and I is still here, however the show notes are lost to time.

Grrrreeettings Everyone!
Adam and Brad sit down for a socially distanced episode of PodCulture. Adam tells about his adventures in Hawaii after recovering from Covid.
The guys then talk about WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier shows on Disney Plus.
Even a pandemic lockdown can’t keep the PodCulture crew from geeking! Thanks to Skype Glenn, Adam, Christina, and Brad are back for Part B of PodCulture: The Quarantine Megasode Special.
Adam tells of his experiences playing Half-Life Alyx.
Yep…even remote recordings have a Geek Cuisine segment as the guys talk about the pineapple tasty tasty that is Mtn Dew: Maui Burst (while Christina bemoans the fact that most of the good Dew flavors don’t come in diet)
And of course the comic nerds Brad and Glenn just have to talk about the awesomeness that was the CW’s Arrowverse adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The gang closes out this special show and hints at possibly more to come in the future, since they had so much fun recording this one!
Hail Hail the gang is BACK!
Yep that damn pandemic had the original PodCulture crew (Brad, Glenn, Christina, and Adam) so crazy with cabin fever that they just had to jump on Skype (no nerd gatherings needed) and record a pair of mega-sized podcast episodes!
In this first of the two the gang catches up, talks about a LOT of TV (because what else do you do during a lockdown?) and then Christina and Brad review Animal Crossing: New Horizons
2018 was the last time this crew recorded, are they still full of Equal Opportunity Geekness? Do pets and long suffering spouses interrupt the show? Only one way to find out…

After the most epic “Road Thus Far” yet the appearance of the original podcast them and an intro bumper by the Torchwood cast the last episode of PodCulture kicks into gear!
Brad, Glenn, and Adam finish out their Game Chatter from the previous episode. (on a personal note…please check out Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and VR)
The guys have their final ever Geek Cuisine and in a flash back to the early days of the podcast…Brad pulls out the infamous Jones Soda with nearly a half-dozen flavors, one of which is a cruel dirty evil trick played on Adam. (well ok…not really but it was still funny…trust me)
Longtime listeners and supporters of PodCulture called in to the voicemail line and shared their thoughts and memories over the years. Special thanks to Billy, Justin, and the blast from the past Ashlee!
Additional bumpers: Miracle Laurie from Dollhouse, Grant Bowler from Defiance, and Tony Curran from Defiance and Doctor Who’s “Vincent and The Doctor”
All good things have to end, and so does this podcast. Adam, Glenn, and Brad share their thoughts of the past thirteen years in the closing, and are joined (thanks to the magic of voicemail and the a bit of editing) by original crew member (and forever a part of PodCulture) Christina! who also shares her memories.
Special musical guests in this episode: Kirby Krackle with “One More Episode”,
The Guild with “I’m the One That’s Cool”, Marian Call with “I’ll Still Be A Geek After Nobody Thinks That It’s Chic (The Nerd Anthem)” GladOS with “Still Alive”
Five hundred and seventy seven hours, twenty minutes, and forty four seconds of geekery draws to a close with perhaps the most epic set of needle scratches and bloopers in all of PodCulture’s thirteen years!
From all of us here in the studio…thank you to EVERYONE who has supported PodCulture over the years! And yes…on that note… We. Are. Outta. Here!
