This past Saturday, August 31st, we celebrated the 3rd year anniversary of this podcast. With wanting to create a special piece about what the journey has been like getting the podcast to this point, I brought in my best friend, Dylan Reese who is an extremely talented recording artist that I live with at the Content Crib. He was a huge inspiration for me in launching this podcast and has been with me along the ride since the launch in 2016.
We discuss:

Since becoming an Uber Driver part time in April of 2015 and going full-time in July of 2016, I’ve used this platform to fund all of my creative ventures. As of today I’ve completed 18,635 trips with an average rating of 4.97 out of 5 stars. I think it’s safe to say the bearded man is in fact the BEST in the BUSINESS!
Hopefully one day Uber will cut me a check for all this good promo!
Full conversation with Dylan Reese, What It Took To Get Here | 3 Year Podcast Anniversary, talking about the last 3 years of Purpose in the Youth will be dropping THIS Friday, September 6 on all platforms.

This Saturday, August 31, will mark the 3 year anniversary of launching this podcast.
It amazes me how fast time can fly by when you’re head down, focused and putting in that work day after day trying to build your baby into a monster. Since the jump, I’ve treated this project as if my back was against the wall and the only direction I could move was forward. The mindset was, there is no option B, we will find a way to make this work - to go all in.
So what does it take to go all in?

JZAC is a hip-hop artist from New Hampshire. During his sophomore year at Plymouth State University he recorded his first song on his friends Macbook internal microphone. The passion grew quickly and so he decided to go all in and bought himself recording equipment, software and began investing all of his time and energy into the craft.
Graduating with an Integrated Marketing & Communications degree, he worked at a local Frito-Lays warehouse and Market Basket to continue funding the music career.
What helped gain him exposure early on was creating freestyle videos that would go viral on Twitter. With all the inbound traffic he was getting from the videos, he was prepared and had some of his newest projects and singles for people to check out or music videos they could watch.
Fast forward seven plus years since he started writing and recording, he’s now living in LA full-time off of his music. What he believes separates himself from other artists is his ability to be honest and authentic by telling his story and his truths. He hopes the music inspires and is relatable to what other people may be going through in their life.
In this episode he discusses the importance of shooting your shot, why we must always be prepared and ready to go, why we shouldn’t be afraid to step outside of our comfort zone, hit “post” and keep it moving and even if the path isn’t clear, create the blueprint.
