The Board Podcast
Long time between drinks, but I thought I'd express some of my thoughts on this new MK Trust and Safety System (https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/17qnciu/mk_vendor_trust_and_safety_system_and_rule_change/)
Â
Do you agree? Do you disagree? Hopefully it makes a few things get thought about a little deeper, and helps improve things for the community.

As always, look after yourselves, each other, and Happy Clacking
In this special, Phil and Colin from Ploopy join me to talk about their company, what they do, why they do it, and some of the challenges they face and tackle to bring their range of open-source designs to the community (and the world!).

Hi Everyone~!
Happy New Financial Year!
Hope you're all keeping well, and that you enjoy another random musing episode of The Board.
This episode, I talk through the concept of Stakeholder Engagement, and a little on the Thomas-Kilman Conflict Mode assessment, and how it could potentially help those in the keyboard community.
Hope you're all looking after yourselves and each other!
Until next time, Happy Clacking :)
Happy LNY!
Hope it is a happy and prosperous one for all that celebrate.
In this episode I talk about DnD OGL debacle; passion, quality, and excellence; and skillsets.
Additionally, go check out the interview with Tamas from Keyboard Builders Digest in the Keebio Blog here: https://blog.keeb.io/interview-with-tamas-of-kbdnews/
Stay Safe, be good to each other, and until next time, Happy Clacking!
Happy New Year!
A recap on 2023, and my hopes for whats coming up in 2023.
Stay safe, be good to each other, and until next time, Happy Clacking!
Just another status episode, and future direction thoughts for The Board.
Its been a while, over a month now, but I thought I'd give a Happy Birthday shoutout to everyone from The Board, because it'll be The Board's 6th Birthday tomorrow.
The show/channel has had many ups and downs, and right now, its been in a bit of a down, but it'll hopefully have more ups to come.
In the last bit of time, I've unfortunately been:
- Very busy with the new financial year at work
- Still working on the house, to the point of;
- Injured myself with RSI/tendonitis T_T
- Unfortunately had a bit of stress thrown in because my father was hospitalised with a lung infection, and I had to drive him to emergency for triage and he was admitted in
- The ever going, non-stop cycle of kids getting sick, since its still winter here, and COVID-19 is still a thing.
Â
I do hope you are all keeping well, looking after yourselves, looking after each other. I hope you're still enjoying your keyboard and keyboard-related journies.
I will be back, I promise, but in the mean time, take care, and of course, as usual; Happy Clacking :)
Hi Everyone,
Apologies for not having an episode last week, closing out the financial year has been pretty busy for me at work, and constantly in calls and meetings so doing a lot of talking. This week Thursday gone by, I probably had about just under an hour of not having my headphones on, which wasn't very nice as my ears were getting pretty sore from having the headset on!
I haven't been very motivated to talk because of that, and with the kids being on/off sick (Climbing Slug is currently being sick nearly every second week, he's got a fever right now -_-; ), and things around the house, I've just been chilling out.
House things have been progressing, will of course update in the next episode.
Hope you're all keeping well, hope to episode soon.
Sincerely,
Don
Thanks for all your patience!

Happy Clacking!
A bit of a later episode, but what does modelling cars in clay, hack and slash bonsai, and soy sauce making have to do with Keyboards?
What does the title even mean?
I guess you'd have to listen to find out :P
