This week we focused on how the goodness of God should create an attitude of gratefulness in our lives.  Because we know that God is good, even when we can’t tell, it causes generosity to be in us in every circumstance. This is how we can “Give thank in all things.”

This week we talked about the three great immobilizers of our faith fear, doubt and worry.  All three of those things can creep into our life when we don’t have a great belief in the goodness of God.  They are at war with our faith and hope in the goodness of God.

This week we look at the Shepherd for our third occupation in our Undercover Boss series.  We see two things consistently in Scripture.  The first is that the Lord is our Shepherd and watches over us.  The second is that Jesus was constantly working to get the disciples to think less like sheep and more like shepherds.

This week we looked at the fisherman for the second occupation in the series.  Jesus said to his disciples, “Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”  So, we see that one of God’s greatest purposes for us is to fish for men.

This week we started a new series called Undercover Boss.  We are taking a look at professions found in God’s Word that speak to our everyday life.  So, the first one we are looking at is the farmer.

Generosity is one of the marks of a fully devoted follower of Jesus.  Jesus said, “where our treasure is, there our heart will be also.”  So our heart will follow our treasure!  Therefore, we should invest our treasure in the Kingdom of God.
