Hey, we’re back. Yeah, late as usual. But we had a lot to digest and think about after Celebration Chicago, so now we’re ready. The Home One Crew sits down and, after sharing their latest acquisitions, break down the Rise of Skywalker trailer. They then wade into the awesomeness that is the upcoming Mandalorian. Ryan walks us through Jedi: Fallen Order, and then they chat some Clone Wars. After unloading everything they can, Mike drops a major announcement that you cannot miss and we won’t spoil here. Be sure to listen all the way to the end as its a big change in the life of Home One Hangout. Thank you as always for your support. May the Force be with you.

Speeder Chat #2: Fan Events & Cons

Hello there fellow fans! Speeder Chat is back. While our main show has been thrown off schedule, Mike took a drive to share some thoughts on one of the best things out there for fans: conventions and fan events. Mike shares some memories of his trip to Celebration Orlando and why you need to go to at least one Celebration event. He also chats about the outbreak of lightsaber tournaments popping up all over the country. Organizations like The Saber Martial Arts Foundation are out there promoting the martial discipline of lightsaber combat, and it’s a beautiful thing. Also, Celebration Lancaster is happening in two weeks. Brick City Blockade and Rebel Cause Lancaster are coming together to bring the Friendom together. If you’re near Lancaster, PA next weekend, you don’t want to miss it.

Legends of Home One Hangout #6: Path of Destruction Review

The Legend is back! It’s been a while since we last dove into the deep end of the Expanded Universe, but the time has come to return. On this episode of Legends of Home One Hangout Professor Chuckles gives us his review of Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. This novel is a favorite of the Home One Crew. Giving us the detailed backstory of one of the most powerful Sith that ever lived, Path of Destruction gives us the Rule of Two, Sith history, and in a way sets up what eventually culminates in the destruction of the Jedi Order centuries later. You can tell just by listening that Chuckles enjoyed this book, and we encourage you to check it out as well. Thank you as always for listening, and may the Force be with you.

You can find Professor Chuckles on Twitter and on his Twitch Page.

Home One Hangout #49: The Future of the Jedi

Hello there fellow fans. We have a great show for you this week. We are once again joined by our good friend Steve Kirk of the San Diego Sabers. On this episode, we tackle an interesting question inspired by a comment Steve made on his last appearance on the show. With Master Luke “gone” and the old ways of the Jedi left in the past, what’s in store for the future of the Jedi? Will they rise again to the prominence they once had, or evolve into something new? We wrestle with this, talk some video games, and have Steve give us some favorite books he’d make into films. We had a blast, as usual. We hope you enjoy, and than you for listening. May the Force be with you.

Home One Hangout #48: Titles, Trailers, and Tangents Oh My!

Hello there fellow fans. On this episode, rather than speculating and predicting what we’ll see in Episode IX, Mike and Ryan dive into what the title of Episode IX could be and what they might expect in terms of trailer content. Trailers are a big part of films these days and first impressions mean a lot. With the end of an era, how are they going to market this and introduce what could be an iconic film? The guys also go off on a serious James Bond tangent, cuz why not? Bond was in The Force Awakens. Don’t judge us. The, they reach into Star Wars literature and pick one book from Legends and one book from the Disney Era to be made into a movie. There were some good picks and a great discussion on this one. We hope you enjoy this latest installment, and as always thank you for listening. May the Force be with you.

  • Home One Hangout #46: Fun Questions

Hello there fellow fans! We’re back this week with a few “what if” questions. One, what classic Star Wars video games would you like to see get a remake. And two, what gadget from that galaxy far far away would you like to actually have. We daydream about what some old school games could look like today, how great they were back in the day, and even who we’d love to have voice those awesome characters. We did have some slight audio issues this go round. Still learning the new equipment, so thank you for sticking with us. We hope you enjoy the show, and thank you for your support. May the Force be with you.

  • Home One Hangout #45: The End of Skywalker

This episode, aside from crossing the streams with other universes, we discuss just what the “end of the Skywalker Saga” could mean for the franchise. Plus, where could the story go if Lucasfilm continues with the episodic format. Who will the characters be? When will it take place? There’s a lot of questions this can bring up and we try our best to break it down and predict the future (good luck with that, right?). Thank you as always for listening and supporting us. May the Force be with you.

  • Home One Hangout #44: Home One Hangout Strikes Back!!!

Hello there fellow fans. We’re back!! It’s been six months and MAN have we been itching to get in front of the mic again. We chat about what we have been up to, what we’re most excited for in the coming months, as well as what we’re not exactly on the edge of our seat for. Now, while we’ve been gone there has been some planning going on. There are some changes coming to this and the other shows we produce. But fear not, it’s nothing too drastic. One show got dropped. Two more are being developed. And, we now have a Patreon page! If you have time, please give us a listen. And if you take the step to support us financially, we would greatly appreciate it. We are beyond stoked to be back. Thanks for listening. May the Force be with you.
