Episode 12 - A glimpse into the mind of David Zwanetz

David was invited to be on “The Criminal Defense Show” presented by Scorpion and Kelly Carpenter. Kelly was kind enough to share the audio. With David usually being the one asking the questions, he thought it would be fun to get a glimpse of some of his thoughts being on the receiving end. “The Criminal Defense Show” can be found at https://www.scorpion.co/law-firms/videos/the-criminal-defense-show/#~97a9m13

    011 – B-Rain – It takes a village

There are many ways to describe B-RAiN, but unique, talented, and charismatic just seem to scratch the surface. However, there is one word that ties them all together and is true to his character: B-RAiN is Real. Few people share so honestly from the heart and soul. B-RAiN does so in just the right way, combining art, story, and song in perfect unison.

Clean since May 5th 2007, B-RAiN has been of service to so many in his community outside of his music, by going into local Jails and speaking to inmates, going into Drug Treatment centers and speaking to clients, as well as helping people find help when they are struggling with addiction/alcoholism. Not only does his passion for helping and inspiring others speak through his music, it also shows in the way that he lives his day to day life!

B-Rain’s “it takes a village” tour kicks off in July 2020! Check the URLs below for details and make sure to give the mighty b-rain a follow on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/user/just42day5

010 - The art of storytelling with Martin Zwanetz

David sat down at his childhood home to dissect the art of story-telling with his father Martin (Marty) Zwanetz. David has been hearing, and living, epic colorful tales all his life - visa-à-via his pops. For posterity, to simply dissect the art of a vivid story-telling by hearing great stories, and to attempt to allow the world an understanding from where he came, David planned this memorial episode (Episode 10) with Marty-the-one-man-party Z. Enjoy!

008 - “A sit down with Forensic and Clinical Psychologist Dr. James Fleming”

David traveled to stunning Garrett Park, Maryland for a sit down with clinical psychologist Dr. James Fleming. Dr. Fleming’s IQ is clearly off the Richter scale and in their wide ranging conversation David and Dr. Fleming covered everything from his beginnings as a professional musician (Rock Star) playing at legendary venues like CBGB, to his current work in his private practice in forensic and clinical psychology (with a focus on sexual disorders). Dr. Fleming is the Advisor to the Maryland Governor’s Sexual Offender Advisory Board, Team Leader of the Special Offenders Clinic at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Administrative supervisor of a part-time outpatient clinic for sexual offenders who are referred by the State of MD Division of Parole and Probation, and he works in tandem with and provides consultation to the clinic’s supervising parole agent. Cases of a sexual nature of some of the most difficult cases any lawyer can face and for this very reason David sought out Dr. Fleming Episode 8 with an aim to unpack an area of the legal world most people rarely talk about.

    004 - “A Primer on Stop & Frisk / Terry v. Ohio”

In Episode 4, David Breaks down the intricacies of the “stop & frisk” law, which stems from the Supreme Court’s ruling in Terry v. Ohio.

Terry v. Ohio, 392 U.S. 1 (1968), was a decision by the United States Supreme Court which held that the Fourth Amendment prohibition on unreasonable searches and seizures is NOT violated when a police officer stops a suspect on the street and frisks him or her without probable cause to arrest, if the police officer has a reasonable suspicion that the person has committed, is committing, or is about to commit a crime and has a reasonable belief that the person "may be armed and presently dangerous.” ENJOY!
