Francheska and Misheila Martinez were twin sisters living in Paterson New Jersey in the spring of 2000. But that summer both of them disappeared–separately–and the police assumed they were runaways. But after 25 years of no contact, we have to wonder if something else happened.

While we debate the balance between reporting information and hurting a case, Summer Moo n-Utah Wells remains missing to this day.

An entire family disappeared from Independence, Missouri but it wasn’t reported for 5 months. And then the police determined they were actually on the run and closed the case having never made contact with them. It would take a family member doing her own investigation to get the case reopened.
