So, did you see the joke about Anne Frank taking a selfie in a bikini. Did you follow the aftermath where the Harvard humor magazine the lampoon apologized for making the joke. Well, obviously this is a topic that Darone is going to want to kvetch about, but his kvetch may not be what you expected.

This week Darone has quite a kvetch. When the Museum of Jewish Heritage decided they needed a new url for their latest exhibit, they had lots of urls that they could choose from. The one they chose, is just kvetch (or maybe even kringe)-worthy.

This year Darone insisted that he wasn’t going to do a Pesach episode complaining about all of the things people complain about on Pesach (the Seder is too long, nobody enjoys matza, kashering the house is so exhausting, KP Cheese is yucky, why is everything so expensive…) but that didn’t mean he couldn’t find something to do an episode about.

In a rare Kvell, Darone talks about the enjoyment he gets when he hears his children singing the songs and prayers they learn at school to themselves in the shower. It is somehow the combination of their voices and realizing that it is these special songs that are on their lips, that just make Darone melt.

It’s MLK Day today, and the kids are off from school. Since the election of Barak Obama, MLK Day has in many places become a day of service, and wouldn’t it be nice to spend the day doing just that, sure? Is it possible… not so much, and that reality has really got Darone Kvetching today!
