The app, called Sile Me in Chinese, requires users to “check in” by pressing a button. If they fail to do so over two consecutive days, the app sends a message to an emergency contact nominated by the user.

正文：To hear T tell it, the end of the Islamic Republic is nigh. “Iran is looking at FREEDOM, perhaps like never before,” he announced on social media on January 10th. “The USA stands ready to help!” The American president has made similar pronouncements every few days since a wave of protest began sweeping Iran on December 28th. He warned that America is “locked and loaded and ready” to intervene if the regime kills demonstrators. “If they do that, they’re going to have to pay hell,” he said.

标题：These Teenagers Are Already Running Their Own AI Companies

They might not yet drive, but they’re getting an early start in business by leveraging vibe-coding and social media.

正文：Like any good tech founder, Nick Dobroshinsky puts in late nights and early mornings working on his startup. But this particular founder doesn’t have much choice: Between 8 a.m. and 2:55 p.m., he’s in high school. He’s 15. “Around the end of eighth grade, I wanted to make some sort of business,” says Dobroshinsky, a sophomore in Sammamish, Wash. “I just spent a long time thinking about what problems there are that could be fixed with AI.” With market-research help from his mom (who works in finance) and early technical guidance from his dad (who works in AI at a big tech company), he landed on the idea of using AI models to generate reports on small- and mid-cap publicly traded companies. The result is BeyondSPX, an AI-based financial research platform.

POTUS is determined to enforce its oil blockade

正文：It was a slow-motion naval chase. Last month in the Caribbean the US Coast Guard attempted to board the Bella 1, an oil tanker used to smuggle oil in defiance of American sanctions. The attempt failed. Weeks later the Bella 1 turned up in the Atlantic with a new name (the Marinera) and a new flag (Russian). A Russian submarine was en route to protect it. But on January 7th American forces pounced before the Russians could arrive, rappelling onto the ship near Iceland and seizing it by force. The same day, thousands of miles away, American forces also seized another tanker, the M Sophia, in Caribbean waters. The raids are the latest assertion of American power to follow the abduction of Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela’s president, on January 3rd.
