Dragged into Turbolasers

Adam Wier, Eric Wier, Gregory Wier

Dragged into Turbolasers is Between the Bolter and Me's official miniature wargaming podcast. We talk critically about all aspects of the miniature hobby, with a primary focus on Warhammer 40,000 and other Games Workshop games. Rather than conversing about rules and competitive play, our priority is to discuss the miniature side of the hobby: examining new model releases, exploring hobby techniques, and talking about our current projects on the blog Between the Bolter and Me.

    Episode 69: MÖRK BORG

In an unusual turn of events, we talk about the Swedish pen-and-paper Role-Playing Game (RPG) MÖRK BORG, with our friend Eli Parsons. It is a rules-lite game that is heavy on atmosphere, putting the players into one of the bleakest fantasy settings we have ever come across. The imagery and setting were inspired by doom metal and black metal bands, many of which are specifically listed at the front of the book! We talk about how the ideas presented in the game book could easily be transferred to your games of Age of Sigmar if you have no desire to run an RPG session.
