Pear was my coworker and boss at The Boardroom for the better part of 15 years. Ben Bilocq is a pro snowboarder who filmed many video parts with crews like Deja Vu and Videograss. His unmistakable smooth style partners with his quiet demeanour to let his snowboarding do the talking. It's common these days to see Ben at Seymour. Mark McMorris, Russel Chai, and Brock Crouch joined skier Max at the UBC Ski and Snowboard Club presentation of Redbull's Paved Q&A. I set up in the background, recorded it and am putting it out as a McMorris episode... I've been working on getting the great Canadian Superpro snowboarder on the show for over ten years and even after meeting him at this event I'm not holding my breath. Jamie Meiselman was the managing editor at Transworld from 1993 to 1995 (my favourite snowboarding era). From his early life all the way through Jamie has been tinkering and inventing in snowboarding and surfing. He helped get snowboarders on chairlifts in New England. An he continues to innovate today with his company Solite heat moldable surf booties. We met up with him in Shenzhen China! What a trip.

This week was crazy with Ingemar asking in the Facebook group Vintage Snowboard Estimates "How much is this board worth" about the actual Atlantis board he rode at Riksgransen in 1996 for that epic backside air.

When I reach out to ask him what was up, he told me he was wrapping his head around what was happening and that we could record a short podcast to explain to the overwhelming number of people who'd reached out to him what was going on.

Sean Kearns answers listener questions!

Sean's life sounds like ten of my lives. He's been a sponsored skater, professional snowboarder, international snowboard filmer, movie producer, talent manager, studio director, and registered therapist. And that's an incomplete list. Kearns is infamous for living the Whiskey movies and holding Whistler hostage during snowboardings boom years. And I consider him one of the most caring people you could ever meet.

Coincidences happen for me when Sean is around. And I interpret those coincidences as messages from my life guides telling me I'm on the right path. He's been a huge influence on my life, changing its course in a big way several times.
