- 27 minutes 42 secondsWho Can You Trust? - Soul Care | Week 5 | A.C. Caswell
Every day, voices compete for our attention and trust. Politicians, business leaders, influencers, and even our own desires promise to lead us toward the good life. But Psalm 146 reminds us that every human leader is temporary. Their plans perish, and none of them can ultimately save us.
God is different. He created all things, keeps His promises, cares for the vulnerable, and reigns forever. Through Jesus, the King of Kings came close to us, conquered sin and death, and invited us into a Kingdom that will never end.
In this message from Psalm 146, discover what it means to stop carrying the weight of saving yourself and begin following the King who reigns forever.
Phoenix Bible Church is a church in the heart of the city of Phoenix, Arizona. We desire to engage culture, uphold truth and love people. In a world where life can be heavy and confusing, we want to cover the hard truths - with grace. This is difficulty and messy - and so are we - but the love of Jesus meets us in our mess.
Our rhythm is to gather to worship on Sunday and then scatter during the week to love, live and lead together.
We are imperfect people moved by the perfect love of Jesus.
Come as you are. Experience His love.

One moment, life can feel like a sturdy bridge—safe, predictable, and secure. The next, it can feel like an uncontrollable river carrying us toward the unknown.
In Psalm 27, David shows us how to respond in both seasons. We do not find courage by gaining control, ignoring our pain, or pretending we have no questions. Courage grows when we remember that the Lord is our light, our salvation, and our stronghold. He is present on the bridge, in the river, and everywhere in between.
In this message, we discover how intimacy with God confronts fear, why honest petitions deepen our relationship with Him, and what it means to wait for the Lord with strength and courage.

We often look to success, relationships, experiences, and changing circumstances to satisfy the deepest longings of our souls. But even the best things in life eventually leave us wanting more.
In Psalm 63, David is fleeing for his life, yet his greatest desire is not simply for his circumstances to change. He thirsts for God. Through passionate prayer, public and private praise, and persistent trust, David shows us where lasting satisfaction is truly found.
Lasting satisfaction is not found in our circumstances, but in our Savior.

My time, attention, energy, preferences, and heart are always aimed at something. The invitation is simple and searching: come before the King. Not with perfect worship, but with a surrendered heart.

6 July 2026, 11:11 pm - 36 minutes 13 secondsHow Is Your Soul? - Soul Care | Week 1 | Tim Birdwell
How is your soul?
In Psalm 46, God does not call us to ignore the chaos around us or pretend everything is fine. He calls us to be still and know that He is God. True soul care is not simply slowing down, taking a break, or escaping the noise. It is surrendering our whole soul to the God who is our refuge, strength, fortress, and present help in trouble.
This week, Pastor Tim walks through Psalm 46 and reminds us that the war within our soul is not too much for the God who makes wars cease. In the middle of chaos, God is powerful. God is present. God is with us.

What transforms an unlikely group of people into an uncommon church? In Philippians 4:10–23, Paul reveals the answer: enduring, sacrificial gospel partnership. This message challenges us to move beyond observing ministry and begin using our time, gifts, and resources for kingdom impact. It also uncovers the true meaning of Philippians 4:13: Christ strengthens His people to endure every circumstance as they pursue His mission together.Phoenix Bible Church is a church in the heart of the city of Phoenix, Arizona. 23 June 2026, 2:26 am - 43 minutes 52 secondsPeace Killers - Life Together | Week 9 | Tim Birdwell
What is stealing your peace?
In Philippians 4:1–9, Paul shows us that biblical peace is not pretending everything is fine or waiting for every problem to disappear. Peace is found in the presence of Christ; and it meets us in real life, with real conflict, real anxiety, and real thoughts that need to be brought under the truth of God.
This message looks at three peace killers: unaddressed conflict, unreleased anxiety, and unguarded thoughts. Through Jesus, I don’t have to numb, suppress, or control what is weighing on my soul. I can bring it to God, pursue peace with others, and let Scripture reshape my mind.

What if the greatest danger is not failure, but succeeding at the wrong things? In Philippians 3:12–4:1, Paul gives a clear picture of the Christian life: press on toward Christ. Not toward comfort. Not toward comparison. Not toward past success or shame. Toward Jesus. This sermon walks through five ways we can waste our lives: choosing the wrong finish line, thinking we’ve already arrived, staying stuck in the past, running without God’s people, and quitting too soon. But there is good news; Jesus has already secured the finish line.Phoenix Bible Church is a church in the heart of the city of Phoenix, Arizona. What if the things you are holding onto are keeping you from the One who is infinitely better?
In Philippians 3, Paul looks at his religious resume, his success, his status, and his righteousness, and counts it all as loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ. This sermon reminds us that joy is not found in perfect circumstances, salvation is not found in religious performance, and righteousness is not something we earn.
Jesus plus nothing equals everything.

In Philippians 2, Paul gives the church two examples of faithful gospel living: Timothy and Epaphroditus. One becomes a trusted leader in the church; the other appears as an ordinary member willing to risk his life to serve Paul and strengthen the mission of the gospel.
This sermon looks at what life together actually requires: relationship and risk. Real discipleship takes time, teamwork, and patience. It cannot be rushed. As followers of Jesus, our lives are not centered on comfort, career, or reputation, but on Christ and His mission.
Love Moves when ordinary people are shaped by the gospel and sent into everyday life with eternal purpose.

The world is dark, but the church is called to shine.
In Philippians 2:12–16, Paul reminds followers of Jesus to work out their salvation, do all things without grumbling, hold fast to the word of life, and shine as lights in the world. This message challenges us to stop blending into the darkness, stop shouting at the darkness, and start carrying the light of Jesus into the places God has placed us.
At Phoenix Bible Church, we are imperfect people moved by the perfect love of Jesus. Love Moves when the people of God shine in their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, and city.
