Bucks lean on defense and vets in roaring Game 5 rout of Pacers

The Milwaukee Bucks bounced back in a BIG way from two losses in Indiana. Doc Rivers and his staff instituted a variety of new defensive wrinkles that stalled the Pacers and the Bucks maligned veterans stepped it up on both ends as Milwaukee cruised to a 115-92 victory in Fiserv Forum and kept their playoff hopes alive for another two days at least. Ti Windisch, Jordan Treske, and Rohan Katti convene after the game to discuss Khris Middleton leading the way, redemption for Bobby Portis and Malik Beasley, and Pat Bev applying BELT 2 A$$.

Battered Bucks trail Pacers 3-1 as injuries seem insurmountable

The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their third straight game of the first round in Indiana on Sunday evening as the Pacers took a commanding 3-1 lead via a 126-113 win over a shorthanded Bucks squad. Milwaukee was without both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard (plus Chris Livingston) and also dealt with Khris Middleton and Patrick Beverley suffering injuries mid-game that hampered them down the stretch. Oh, and Bobby Portis got ejected in the first quarter! So yeah.

Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti caught up Monday morning to try and find any positives in the Bucks current situation, including Middleton’s intense level of grit, Andre Jackson Jr proving he belongs in the Bucks rotation now and next season, and … maybe Dame and/or Giannis will come back and save Milwaukee? They also discussed their disappointment with most of the vets on Milwaukee's roster, and commended Doc Rivers for trying to patch this thing together.

Bucks blow brutal overtime opportunity despite Middleton masterpiece in Game 3

The Milwaukee Bucks had a golden opportunity to steal Game 3 in Indiana but fell short as the Pacers took a 2-1 series lead. Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti of the Gyro Step and Adam McGee of the Win in 6 podcast convened after the 121-118 loss to discuss Khris Middleton's heroics, the Bucks nearly getting stops but not being able to rebound, and the new outlook of the series with Game 4 coming up on Sunday.

Bucks fall flat as speedy Pacers tie up series 1-1

The Milwaukee Bucks got another great game from Damian Lillard but the rest of the Bucks couldn't step up when the Indiana Pacers sent help, and the Pacers' improved shooting led to a dispiriting 125-108 Game 2 loss. Ti Windisch, Jordan Treske, and Numac convened after the game to discuss how the Bucks can bounce back before Games 3 and 4 in Indiana.

Dame leads the way as Bucks start Pacers series up 1-0 without Giannis

The Milwaukee Bucks got a huge Game 1 win without Giannis Antetokounmpo, as Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, and a great Bucks defensive effort stymied the Indiana Pacers and the Bucks won 109-94. Ti Windisch, Rohan Katti, and Jordan Treske covered their general excitement and what they saw on Sunday live on the GSPN Bucks postgame show on YouTube, including breakdowns of every player who logged minutes for the Bucks, and a focus on Doc Rivers earning his doctorate back with a strong Bucks debut.

Previewing Milwaukee/Indiana Playoff Series: Can Bucks handle the Pace?

The Milwaukee Bucks’ first-round series was never going to feel particularly easy with the way the Bucks stumbled to the finish line of the 2023-24 NBA season, and losing Giannis Antetokounmpo for at least part of the series only intensified the challenge looming in the spunky Indiana Pacers for Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, and the remaining Bucks.

To prepare for the series, Ti Windisch of the Gyro Step sat down with Alex Golden of the Setting the Pace podcast to go over the starters matching up on both ends, as well as key bench players for both sides, and general factors that feel important to the series (especially pace). Gyro Step listeners, check out Setting the Pace wherever you get your podcasts for the opposition intel this series!

Taking stock of the Bucks ahead of the NBA Playoffs | Into the Winklerverse/Gyro Step Crossover

The Milwaukee Bucks tip off their first NBA Playoffs series with Damian Lillard in less than a week, so Ti Windisch of the Gyro Step and Bart Winkler of Into the Winkerverse took stock of the Bucks where they're at, evaluated their wildly uneven 2023-24 NBA regular season, discussed how they can respond with Giannis Antetokounmpo hampered for another playoff run, and shared whether they believe the Bucks are more likely to lose to the Indiana Pacers in the first round or make it to a dogfight with the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Giannis Antetokounmpo avoids major injury reaction pod!

Thank whatever deity you choose and put down the blessing oil, as Giannis Antetokounmpo has reportedly avoided a major lower leg injury and instead is suffering from a still tricky but not disastrous calf strain according to The Athletic. Ti Windisch of the Gyro Step went live on Playback early Wednesday morning to discuss his reaction to the news, what the Bucks NEED to do as a result (win without him and not rush him back early under any circumstances), shared his reaction to the great Milwaukee Bucks win over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night including big rotation changes, and mostly just exhaled.
