Charleston-based comedy podcast taking a ridiculous look at the food and beverage community. Tackling the issues that don't matter at all.
I come back from a short hiatus to chat with my childhood friend The Cornbread Cowboi. Though the internet knows him as the southern swaggy Duke of Drip (and hilarious meme king) I grew up with Orry Lee Kennedy in a small town in South Carolina called Williston. When we were growing up the population was 3243, today itās down to down to just 2843. We talk about how he went from slicing brisket in a BBQ restaurant in Tampa to having over 600k followers on IG and being a full time performer with an epic closet of vintage american iconography. Heās hilarious and genuine and it was a real treat to sit down with him after all these years. Love you, O-Eazy.

This episode was recorded in front of a LIVE studio audience during āEffinā Breakfastā at the Counter Culture Training Center in downtown Charleston on 3/9/24.
My guest today is the wildly charming and incredibly talented Hannah Marie Welton of Weltonās Tiny Bakeshop, Charlestonās darling jewel of a bakery that has us all wrapped around its tiny little finger. Hannah candidly shares how she and her husband Zachary created their iconic āHoney Pieā while cooking in the jungles of Tulum and dives into their origin story in the kitchen at Sean Brockās: Husk. Itās no secret that I adore them and their entire team and I hope you enjoy this conversation and one day have a chance to try their exquisite baked goods for yourself. A special thanks to Counter Culture for sponsoring this epic event and to every single person who braved an actual flood to be apart of this unforgettable day. ILSYM. Youāre the effinā best.

After a holiday hiatus, Iām back and Iāve brought a guest. We recorded this episode in the studio of Tim Hussey, where a freshly finished painting hangs on the wall along with photographs heās taken and countless scribbled notes from him, to him. Tim is a legend in the world of art and a Charleston gem who graciously and candidly shares his experience and wisdom gained from being a life-long artist who, at 53, is still evolving.

After my trip to LA gets cancelled I try to find the silver lining and share some holiday memories of days gone by.
I recap a very unforgettable Thanksgiving and get on a small tangent about couples having joint accounts on Facebook. Itās just as non-sequitur as it sounds. To you and yours!
